5.0 out of 5 stars A Decent Breakfast
Reviewed in the United States on June 12, 2023
I was looking for an easy breakfast, with a decent amount of protein. I think one can has roughly 36 grams of protein (having 3oz as a serving size). I eat the whole can and find myself decently full in the morning. I warm the salmon on a skillet while preparing some ricecakes with nut butter. It's an easy breakfast that usually fills me up for the morning. On the days I don't eat salmon, I tend to get hungry earlier.

I like the taste and that's it is wild caught. I like the convenience of the can. I don't need to thaw fish and cook it thoroughly on the grill, stove, or oven. Salmon is smelly, but that is normal when it comes to most fish. I've ordered this brand two times and have had no issues (thus far). I will continue ordering from this brand because I like that's wild caught, and I think sustainably caught, and it works for me. Other brands tend to have extra flavor or soy added to them. This is just fish and salt. Yes, it is expensive. That is something I am willing to splurge on when it comes to eating.

5.0 out of 5 stars Surpsingly good canned salmon

It tastes nice for it being in a can, it doesn't have that absurd fishy smell and it's decent.

I just love these salmon cans! In one can you get almost 40 g of protein! The brand is very reputable, and I trust their processing! I love to make a salmon salad with one can of salmon, a scoop of Greek yogurt, a squeeze of mustard, and one shredded carrot, plus whatever seasonings I’m in the mood for. I also love making easy salmon patties. I use two cans of the salmon, one egg, and whatever seasonings I’m in the mood for. I then form into six patties. These patties are also great for baby lead weaning! They are great for the whole family! My only complaint if they are a bit pricey. But it’s worth it for the value!

Check out the Wild Planet recipe on internet. I made exactly like and not time consuming. Gave my son 3 cans bc no bone and skinning picking through.

This is a once a week meal for our 17 lb Papillon.
He devours it & as a special treat, gets to lick the can afterward. :-)

I don’t care for canned salmon & this definitely has a fishy smell, but he loves it & I am satisfied with the quality of sustainable wild caught salmon.
Never consume farm raised salmon!

5.0 out of 5 stars First time buying this item

After getting a free sample from an order i placed w another company and liking the taste, I googled to see who had it. The price is reasonable, the cans are easy to open and the serving is just enough to fill you up for several hours. As picky eaters, I am happy to say that two of us are now eating it. The taste is not as strong as i thought it would be so i am able to enjoy ,it and it has a semi strong smell. Adding lemon juice reduces the taste and smell somewhat as i continue to learn how to eat it. My son enjoys it in a sandwich ,on a tostada or in a salad. We are glad we bought it and will definitely buy again. I recommend you try it if you haven't.

Good taste and value but, the expiration date was only a few months from purchase. Had to give some away. Hesitate to buy again

Tastes overcooked, not particularly good, but organic is a plus.
