This was absolutely unhinged and I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT.
I love me a dark romance and my God, it’s even better when both main characters are blood-thirsty little crazies. It just does something for me. I don’t recall ever reading a book where the female main character was a plus-size baddie who was blood-thirsty as Jill was and I NEED more of that!
Jill and Gage are feral and unhinged and I love them so much. They’re both hot and they know it. Their obsession with each other was just ????????️????
I loved their witty back and forth banter and how perfect they are for each other.
“If you don’t have a god complex, I’ll give you one.” LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING ME ???????????? if a man spoke to me like that I would pass out????????????
And if it’s not “I don’t just love you. I worship you. I bleed you. I am for you.” Then I don’t want it!
You can’t tell me they did anything wrong because all those people deserved what they got.

This is a dark stalker romance and both Jill, the FMC, and Gage the MMC, are unhinged and willing and ready to unalive people. Jill is a bartender at a club that Gage owns, which he won through a poker game. She's stuck working there to pay off her brother's debt. Her brother is gone and the police believe him to be dead and also they no longer care to look for him. Jill has no one else since her parents have passed except for her best friend Lana. I love Lana and Jills friendship, they seem to be all in for each other and have no judgment on what or who they get into trouble with. Jill is also strong and not willing to back down from anyone. She seems to use her femininity to get these boys thinking they can have their way with her and then she attacks.

Gage is a tattoo-god and he has his own tattoo shop as well as the club and pretty much runs the gambling world. Gage is a stalker (only for Jill) for months and casually sneaks into Jill's house pretty much like every night. He’s possessive, protective, and jealous. He pretty much threatens anyone that touches her and he's not playing around with that threat at all. Also, he's out here cleaning up crime scenes so Jill doesn't get caught. I love that he’s so close to his foster brothers but that his family is part of an MC. I love an MC story so it was fun to get a little of that in this story. Also LOVED his mom and how she got along so well with Jill! Would love to see more of Rio (his brother).

I absolutely loved this book. MMC is absolutely obsessed, unhinged, and completely devoted. MFC is also unhinged, confident af, and makes him work for it. I loved that the book felt like there was a connection early and the spicy scenes were frequent and flowed with the story. My only complaint was there was a few spelling errors or word mix ups in a sentence but it was easily mentally fixed and did not take from the story at all.

I saw a promo for this book, and I was scared that it wasn’t going to live up to the hype. However, watching the relationship between Gage and Jillian lived up to every bit of the hype. I love the resistance, the realness of her reaction to him stalking her. The push and pull is so enthralling I sat and read this in one sitting. If you love a good dark romance, this is a must read.

Ok so let me tell you something I was not prepared for this book. I really should check my mental state by now because they’re were some stuff that were RED FLAGS ???? but for me there was no problem ????

So Jill was a freaking bad ass plus size queen!!! I loved her confidence and how she loved her body just the way it was. Also how she never let a man treat her bad or make her feel less. She was a powerful FMC, I also loved how she was portrayed, yeah she was a confidence queen, but some time she had her self doubts, but she didn’t let that overwhelm her. She was a wonder duo representation of how women in every shaped of body should see themselves ????

Ok so Gage, my god if this guys isn’t a RED FLAG I don’t know about you but a I want to keep him for me ????. This men was alfa male type but also sweet when he wanted, he also has touch her and d*e vibes written all over his face!! I don’t know about you but his the definition of morally grey and I love it????

So the book follows the story of Jill, and how she is in debt with Gage, but everything is a plan Gage has to keep Jill for ever. And let me tell you this dude has his ways and they are not that morally good, but they work.
