I always wanted to get one jealously watching those guys looking for some “treasures” on a beach and finally found this one on Amazon. And my first impression is that now I don’t have to worry about kids spending all the time on the phones, tablets or other gadgets lol. This device is so much fun to use and explore “treasures” around. As soon as I assembled it, I didn’t even have a chance to get through the manual, my daughter had no patience and we went outside right away using it in as is mode. And it worked right out of the box. As you can see on my video, we purposely dropped a coin and were pretending to find it. And device did its job perfectly well - it found it. Funny thing it can detect the exact amount of the coin it finds, penny or a quarter, it showed us on a screen whatever we found. I loved a PP mode, where it detects the exact location of potential “treasure”. Of course I can’t wait to get through the whole manual, adjust all the settings I need to prevent false or unwanted alarms, but my family is still “playing” with this device outside, without giving me a chance to get through it more deeply. Whole device is pretty good quality built, feels very comfortable and lightweight (I’d say very lightweight for its size), has an adjustable metal (aluminum I believe) handle so the length can be adjusted for any member of the family, coil (a large one!) looks very sturdy and according to the description waterproof (did not try putting it underwater yet though). Good plus it has a big lcd screen for easy reading, which can be lightened up at night if you need it. Two 9 volt batteries are included which is another plus since I didn’t have to make a trip to the store to buy them (as probably the most of us I never keep those 9 volt batteries in my house because I basically never use them, well maybe once in two years to replace my garage door opener battery lol). Getting through some other reviews some people say it’s a kind of kids toy. As a beginner, I don’t have any experience with this kind of devices, but for me this detector definitely doesn’t look like it’s made for kids (but as said above the handle is adjustable so even kids can easily use it). According to the manual it has a bunch of setting I can adjust, for example I can silence any other metals and keep one for jewelry. It also shows you how deep your potential “treasure” is under the ground so you can dig it out with provided mini shovel (as shown on one of my pics). We actually found a quarter under ground and that was our first ever treasure found with this metal detector (and again it showed us on a screen it was a quarter and after digging it out we confirmed that wow). So yes, I’d say this device is a perfect addition to our family fun collection that everyone will use and it’s definitely not going to dust somewhere in a garage shelf or corner. Can’t wait to make a trip to a beach where sand digging will be another fun challenge and who knows, maybe we will find something really valuable lol. And oh yeah, all forgot, this metal detector is very simple to assemble/disassemble so it perfectly fits into a provided backpack for easy carrying. So my long time dream I guess came true and you might see me one day looking for treasures on one of your favorite beaches lol. Hope someone will find my review helpful.

This is the first metal detector I have ever purchased. It is so easy to use, and very easy to assemble. The design is comfortable to use and it is quite sensitive. I was having a hard time finding one of my property pins by measurement. I had someone come and try to find it with their metal detector, and still had difficulty finding it. This picked it up in under five minutes. My property has new pins placed ten years ago, and it located the old landmarks as well as the new, capped and documented pins. This is really a nice set-up and I would recommend it to a beginner or an enthusiastic. There are multiple settings for different metals, and the display is straight forward and easy to read. It also comes with a storage bag if you want to travel with it. It comes with headphones as well. We will be taking it to the lake to test it on the shoreline soon. You won’t be disappointed with this for yourself and it would also be a really great gift for anyone!

I am impressed with this metal detector as it is user-friendly. My teen and I both enjoy using it. I like that I don’t have to mess with any sensitivity adjustments, it’s ready to go right out of the box. It comes complete with batteries, earphones, a folding shovel, and a carry bag, providing everything you need! The screen conveniently displays the probable metal type and estimated depth, making it easy to determine where to dig.I appreciate it’s sensitivity and the pinpoint button feature for precise digging. What sets this detector apart is its larger coil size, measuring 11 inches by 9 inches, and its waterproof design. We love taking it to the beach.

ordered this metal detector so that I can go metal detecting on the beach with my husband. I found that it was easy to set up and did well even in the water. Although we did not find any real treasures, the detector did keep detecting all kinds of fun stuff on the beach (iron, metal caps, used metal wire, and even some change). While we did not walk away any richer, we took home some fun memories of our time metal detecting on the beach. It was fun and easy to use, and that was important to us! This is a great detector for beginners

This is a great metal detector. My 12 year old son wanted to walk on the beach and see what he could find and this definitely worked. You can adjust the size so it is comfortable for all heights. We came home with lots of finds from our treasure hunt and will be using this all summer long this year. The price was right, it is sturdy and was super easy to put together. I love that a carrying bag came with it as well as a foldable shovel to dig with. I highly recommend this product.

The delivery was also fast, but there were a few things that made me a little disappointed, but it's not a big deal. Overall all the buttons on this item function well, making me feel quite comfortable... I am quite satisfied with the goods and service provided, and I also highly recommend this good item, no need to worry about the expensive price, because it is definitely high get quality goods.

This detector is so much better then those I've used in the past. It's light weight and has a nice display. Out of the box assembly was a breeze and after turning on I went out side and immediately began finding coins. Coins that I missed with other detectors. It also has many types of metals. I havent had the nerve to test it in the water yet but over all I Highly recommend this.

OK, This is my third metal detector, AND WOW!!! it shows you what you are actually digging! there is some margin of error, however ever so slight, love that it assembles quickly and dis assembles just as quick. I feel like we hit the jackpot with this one.
