I was looking for low cost dash cam. Many dash cams were over $100 and this one was under $50. I was a little skeptical, but I've been using it for a week now and it is working well. The setup went smooth, the camera connected to the app without any issues (follow directions closly about allowing phone permissions) and the memory card I previously owned was compatible (it did not come with a memory card and the description describes a certain type of card to use). What I like about this camera, versus a previous one I had, is that it is clear when it is recording. It has a screen that actively shows the status of the camera. Video recording quality is just fine for its intended purpose. It is light weight so I don't expect this one to fall off my windshield like a previous, heavier camera i had after the adhesive was exposed to the sun for awhile. This camera also has a protective sheet you place on the windshield so you don't have to stick the strong adhesive straight onto your windshield.

I like it that there is no need to have the app installed to use this dashcam, other than perhaps the initial formatting of the card. Anyone driving our car can just reach up and short-press the power button to "lock" the last video clip. So if they get into an accident of any sort, they can save the record without pairing an app, etc.
I had an issue with an SD card (bought separately) and also wanted a USB power cord, and exchanged a handful of emails with the support staff. They were very responsive and rushed me the cord in just a few days. Excellent experience.
