I’ve always wanted a car play for my older Toyota but I was hesitant to get one because I was worried I wouldn’t know how to install it. But this one is very was really easy to install, I just need to plug it into my aux and cigarette cable to get it working. It also comes with two different holders which makes mounting easy. The back up camera was harder to install since it required me to drill a hole to put the camera through, but it wasn’t that hard to do. Everything works great, it even comes with a dash cam that records in 4k which was a great addition. I’m connecting it with Bluetooth and it’s super fast, the screen is clear and smooth. Very worth it.

Pros: Looks good, works well, easy to set/use, fast, car feels fancy and gives you nice vibe.

So, this was first time buying something like this. It was really great experience overall. Mounting this CarPlay was the easiest task. And then you connect to any type C cable and it's ready to use. Looks really nice on my car. The screen is big bright and clear. It connects via Bluetooth. YouTube music can also be played. Display looks same like an Apple iPad/iPhone with 3 small screen featured icons which can be customized with whatever app you want it on the screen display. It's worth of the money.
Pros: Looks good, works well, easy to set/use, gives you nice vibe.

Very much like this Madoec CarPlay/Android Auto touchscreen interface!

Pros:
- Super Affordable
- Quality Interface
- Adds features (FM/BT Broadcast/Dash and Reverse Cam/ AirPlay + Screen Cast) other solutions don't

Cons
- Slightly clunky interface (really minor gripe)

Installation took less than 5 minutes once you've selected the best mounting option for your vehicle. The best option for most will be 'Monitor Base' option but some cars don't have enough level surface for this option. (Using the windshield suction cup will block the Dash Cam). They thoughtfully included a double-sided foam sticker which will help some with milder curved dashes and the base does have 4 pre-drilled holes but there are no shallow self-tapping screws included.

The documentation provided is simple but sufficient.

The screen is pretty responsive (about an 8 out of 10) and bright. The feature set when connecting to Android Auto/CarPlay is what you'd expect. I was pleasantly surprised to discover the option to broadcast Music to the FM module, as my 20 year old car with integrated infotainment doesn't have an audio in jack.

Also surprised that the reverse camera provided is really good quality and the system will even let you calibrate your reverse area guidelines (for assisted reversing). While there is no vehicle turning integration capability with the reverse calibration, without an input from the steering and the dimensions of the car, you'll likely not get a predictive reverse assist anyway.

If there is any (tiny) gripe about the system its that the settings interface is a bit limited and file management for the camera recordings is clunky, specifically requiring one to select each individual file to manipulate/delete the file (no batch selection.)

At the end of the day, this system is an incredible value, easy to install, and adds safety features to older cars not possible with bespoke, more expensive systems. It's also very easy to remove, if you're looking to add this to a classic car and keep it close to original. Good job, Madoec

The Madoec Portable Apple Carplay Screen is amazing! The 9-inch display is crisp and clear, and the wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto work flawlessly. The 4K dash cam and 1080p backup camera are game-changers for safety, and I love the built-in GPS navigation. Setting it up was easy, and the Bluetooth and FM features make it even more versatile. Siri integration is super smooth as well. It's a fantastic upgrade for any car without built-in Carplay or Android Auto! Highly recommend!

Works pretty well! Bright enough and easy to use! The camera DVR was a bonus feature for me. It’s frozen on me once but just once after using for quite a bit on a hot day. The only thing that would make it better is a contrast adjustment for the screen. The Apple Maps images for houses and such get a little washed out. Love how easy it easy to have the radio on and this unit do the audio for maps and messages and then switch the audio output for Apple Music.
