While this handmade genuine leather sleeve is meant for a laptop, I, selected it to use for my 12.9 inch tablet.
The leather is very nice quality and the embossing is beautifully done. I appreciate that the leather pieces are stitched together and not just glued together. By having the pieces stitched together this sleeve will hold up for years to come.
My 12.9 inch tablet fits inside nicely with room to spare, but it only fits as long as there’s no other case or cover on it. Once I place a case or a cover on my tablet it sticks out of the sleeve about a quarter of an inch. I am not sure why it does this as there is as adding the case doesn't add much additional sizing or bulk. it also doesn’t have a pencil holder so that would not be the reason it sticks out.
I really do like the sleeve, but I have a slight issue with it which is that the leather at the opening is not cut straight. The leather also wasn’t smoothed down on the edges so the edges looked unfinished.
Despite that I still recommend the sleeve. The embossed design is absolutely beautiful and the leather feels like great quality leather so I think this will really hold up over the years, even through the toughest usage.

Regardless, its purpose as a laptop sleeve is fulfilled. I do think my MacBook Air is more protected in the sleeve and it does fit perfectly inside it. I wish there was a mechanism over the opening, like a simple clasp, just to really minimize the chance of my laptop slipping out. Right now, it's only the raw edge of the leather and nothing other than the tight fit of the case keeping my computer in it.
I'm looking forward to more use of this laptop sleeve to see how it ages. "Crazy horse" leather is supposed to age beautifully over time.
