I purchased this for the sit to stand desk that I recently got to dress it up a bit and couldn't be happier with how it turned out!

The contact paper is thick and great quality. It does not easily tear and easy to install! Adhesion is amazing! Easy peel yet, would stick again with no problem! Glossy finish and seemless look!

INSTALLATION TIPS:

PLAN BEFORE YOU STICK. Cut your materials and lay it how you want it first and give enough room for edges.

CLEAN YOUR AREA. Wipe with a cleaner or whatever you wanna use but wipe it dry with a microfiber cloth so you don't have small particles laying around as this will leave bubbles.

START IN THE BACK! So you can get a feel for how to install it. How you want your corners folded etc.

STAY CALM & BE PATIENT. Things can get overwhelming easily specially if youre working on a bigger space. Keep things neat and apply small sections only to avoid wrinkles or bubbles.

ROLL IT! Roll the piece that you're going to use the other way so you'll have better control while applying. Roll carefully so you dont create creases and folds. This will appear on your desk and hard to smooth out.

PEEL IT. Peel small sections only! I peel abt 2 inches at a time. I carefully apply the adhesive part on the corner of my desk allowing extra inchb to be folded underneath.

WIPE IT. Use microfiber cloth to wipe as you apply. Wipe with pressure but carefully. I wipe as I go meaning I've got pressure on my left hand while wiping on up and down motion to smooth out any bubbles while peeling the back paper with my right hand.

ROLL IT AGAIN. Roll back paper (the one on your right hand) as you go so you have less clutter.

CUT IT. Cut a small piece to patch the corners of your desk. This will conceal all the folds you have there.

This product is really easy to use. It is quite forgiving if you don’t eat it straight and need to retry it.
I ended up needing three rolls for my small kitchen, so that was surprising.
I am excited about the change. It looks nice from far away!

Okay let’s start with that the product is stunning. It’s shiny and looks like marble. Super happy with the quality and the look overall. It was a little hard to put it on (I was using it on like a counter top extra table thing and two chairs that go with it). I don’t know if I just don’t know what I’m doing but I really struggled not to have bubbles and creases. I guess if you know what you’re doing you’ll be super happy with the result!

This is sticky and you must unroll carefully! It can crease. I laid it out slowly and for the most part it worked fine. I had no idea how to do the sink so I made cuts and it doesn’t look good and doesn’t stick.

I later saw a short video where someone used a hair dryer and stretched the vinyl until it wrapped….which would work if you don’t already have a faucet installed.

So, you will likely have some seams unless you take off the faucet. That said, I haven’t tried the technique with the dryer

I am saving up for quartz countertops and this was a great temporary solution. It looks OK, definitely better than it was, and seems to adhere well so far to the counters. I like it. The problem is I could never keep this to sell or rent. It is apparent that it is contact paper. BUT, I love it for a temporary solution, despite the frustration of putting it on. It takes a long time. I used caulking tape to secure the edges. Overall, would recommend as a temporary solution! Returning to this comment 2 months later…had to rip it up, didn’t withstand time, cracked and looked terrible

My review is I love the product, love the thickness and the look but I gave it a 4 star bc I could not install it. I work with vinyl decals on the smaller end and this was not possible to install without messing up. I could not get it to go down without the bubbles or the creases. For that reason I gave it a 4 star.
