5.0 out of 5 stars Works well with Garmin Striker 4

I used this mount for a Garmin Striker 4. The display part of the Garmin attached easily to the plate using the pre-drilled holes in the mount. The locknuts are in a tight spot so you may need needlenose pliers or similar to hold the nuts in place while you tighten the screws. The track also mounts easily to the kayak. Note that the mount only comes with four screws for the track, so you may want to buy four more to make sure all eight of the holes in the track are used. I added a dab of marine sealant before driving in each of the screws. Mounting the transducer to the arm ended up being easy once I figured out how to make it work. You'll see in the photos that I included the hull mount with the transducer because it keeps the transducer locked in position, rather than flopping around. This configuration required me to buy a slightly longer #10 machine bolt (I also bought a #10 locknut just to be safe). I think the bolt I bought ended up being 2.5 inches long. Once everything was tightened up, the transducer was locked into position. Hopefully the photos help those of you with the Garmin Striker 4 units!

Great sturdy product. I had some questions about the install and the customer service for the company was top notch. They went above and beyond after the sale. I'd purchase from them again in a heartbeat.

I believe I received a faulty part because it snapped on the first voyage but was instantly replaced, free of charge. I would by again knowing they stand behind it.

Very easily installed. Fit my Garmin unit perfectly. However, I had to custom fit the transducer with some additional hardware as this item didn't have the right hardware with it.

I bought a new Lawrence Hook 7 fish finder for my kayak and this setup works perfectly for the transducer and to help mount the screen. I had to buy the top mounting bracket separate that fit my size screen however it was only an extra 20 bucks

3.0 out of 5 stars Works well, kind of expensive for what you get

These just seem expensive for being injection molded plastic, but they get the job done, I mounted a Garmin striker 4 to my kayak. The rail/mount is unfortunately proprietary for their rail mount so to mount this on already existing rails on your kayak you have to get creative.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stop drilling holes in your kayak to mount the transducer. Use this instead....

The best part of this solution is your fancy fish finders are no longer dedicated to the vessel the transducer is mounted on. With this, you just bolt the whole setup on and off the kayak rails. 5 stars !!!!
