Awesome, perfect size. Even has a belt hook & strap so you can wear it. I’m impressed with all of the ways to power it, especially 3 Aaa batteries instead of C or D batteries. Hand crank, charger cord included, solar power it. Has a good audio, my local weather comes in, no static.

Does everything that it says it will. The flip-up solar panel that turns into area lighting is great. It's a single unit that takes care of many problems in a power outage: Radio for information, multiple charging methods, power pack to charge devices, 2 different lights. Worth ever penny.

The power bank feature seems to work pretty well - if I read the instructions right you have to charge the battery in the unit and then charge another device - I don't believe you can charge a phone etc while turning the crank. I tested charging my cell phone it added 5% charge to my Samsung cell phone pretty quickly. The instructions give sample times for hand crank recharging the unit - for recharging other devices I think an avg 3 min of cranking to replenish the units battery bank for 20 mins of unit use or charging another device would give you an an idea of how much effort would be needed to fully off load and transfer a charge to another device. The solar panel charges the internal power bank but there isn't a real indicator to say how much charge is taking place other than a single indicator light, that is either on or off. First charge took approx. 4 hours and that matched what the instructions for the unit indicated so that was on the mark. The radio feature even with antenna extended doesn't seem to pick up stations very well - I have an older radio that picks up lots of stations but this one only seems to find one station and the weather radio feature none so far. The lights are well placed and bright. The unit is light weight and features seem well placed for use. The attached wrist strap is of good quality, but, the single strand of material attaching the strap to the unit won't wear will and could be a problem - you might want to add a stronger connection from the unit to the strap if that is an important feature for your use. The charging features and options I would give this one a 5 star, for the radio feature and weak connecting strap 1 star. Cost vs utility I think for the functions the pricing is fair and I would probably buy a second one if the radio part worked better.

Purchased this at the beginning of hurricane season because it has so much capability. Can run on batteries, or Li ion, or hand crank. Has a small solar panel too. Radio is am/fm/weather band and has an antenna. A great feature is a USB port to charge phones, etc. plus a great flash light. Wish I had it two winters ago when my power was out for a week. Be prepared. Arrived on time and in good condition. Gifted my sister with one.

This radio is the ultimate value buy for emergency radios! There are multiple ways to charge it, it allows you to charge other devices, has a flashlight and the emergency weather radio. I bought two as gifts and one for myself.

The FosPower Emergency Weather Radio (Model A1) – it's pretty neat! I was skeptical at first, but it's actually come in handy a few times. What I like most is the multiple power options – you can charge it via USB, solar, or even hand crank, so you're never without power.

The design is straightforward, and it's easy to use, which is a big plus during stressful situations. The built-in power bank is a lifesaver too – keeps my phone charged when the power's out.

Now, I'll be honest, the sound quality isn't amazing, but it gets the job done. It's not exactly a replacement for your favorite speaker, but for emergencies, it does the trick.

Overall, I think it's worth it for the peace of mind it provides. It's durable, reliable, and affordable – definitely a good addition to your emergency kit.

3.0 out of 5 stars USB cable was damaged
Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2024
The packaging box was damaged but the box the unit came in was undamaged... The usb plug was crushed. I think either quality control failed to inspect the plug or sent it to me knowing it was damaged. Their instructions that came with it said to call them & give them a chance to remedy any issues. I called left my name & number. They never called back. I wrote & email explaining the situation & they wanted pictures & more info… the cable/usb is common issue so I’m just using one from another product. Not worth dealing any further with them over 30 cent part. I don’t plan to buy from them again. The device works fine. No complaints there. I bought two of these & gave one as a gift. Overall, I am content with the product but not with the way the handled the issue. I don’t plan to buy from them again.
