I always wanted to get one jealously watching those guys looking for some “treasures” on a beach and finally found this one on Amazon. And my first impression is that now I don’t have to worry about kids spending all the time on the phones, tablets or other gadgets lol. This device is so much fun to use and explore “treasures” around. As soon as I assembled it, I didn’t even have a chance to get through the manual, my daughter had no patience and we went outside right away using it in as is mode. And it worked right out of the box. As you can see on my video, we purposely dropped a coin and were pretending to find it. And device did its job perfectly well - it found it. Funny thing it can detect the exact amount of the coin it finds, penny or a quarter, it showed us on a screen whatever we found. I loved a PP mode, where it detects the exact location of potential “treasure”. Of course I can’t wait to get through the whole manual, adjust all the settings I need to prevent false or unwanted alarms, but my family is still “playing” with this device outside, without giving me a chance to get through it more deeply. Whole device is pretty good quality built, feels very comfortable and lightweight (I’d say very lightweight for its size), has an adjustable metal (aluminum I believe) handle so the length can be adjusted for any member of the family, coil (a large one!) looks very sturdy and according to the description waterproof (did not try putting it underwater yet though). Good plus it has a big lcd screen for easy reading, which can be lightened up at night if you need it. Two 9 volt batteries are included which is another plus since I didn’t have to make a trip to the store to buy them (as probably the most of us I never keep those 9 volt batteries in my house because I basically never use them, well maybe once in two years to replace my garage door opener battery lol). Getting through some other reviews some people say it’s a kind of kids toy. As a beginner, I don’t have any experience with this kind of devices, but for me this detector definitely doesn’t look like it’s made for kids (but as said above the handle is adjustable so even kids can easily use it). According to the manual it has a bunch of setting I can adjust, for example I can silence any other metals and keep one for jewelry. It also shows you how deep your potential “treasure” is under the ground so you can dig it out with provided mini shovel (as shown on one of my pics). We actually found a quarter under ground and that was our first ever treasure found with this metal detector (and again it showed us on a screen it was a quarter and after digging it out we confirmed that wow). So yes, I’d say this device is a perfect addition to our family fun collection that everyone will use and it’s definitely not going to dust somewhere in a garage shelf or corner. Can’t wait to make a trip to a beach where sand digging will be another fun challenge and who knows, maybe we will find something really valuable lol. And oh yeah, all forgot, this metal detector is very simple to assemble/disassemble so it perfectly fits into a provided backpack for easy carrying. So my long time dream I guess came true and you might see me one day looking for treasures on one of your favorite beaches lol. Hope someone will find my review helpful.

This is a great metal detector. My 12 year old son wanted to walk on the beach and see what he could find and this definitely worked. You can adjust the size so it is comfortable for all heights. We came home with lots of finds from our treasure hunt and will be using this all summer long this year. The price was right, it is sturdy and was super easy to put together. I love that a carrying bag came with it as well as a foldable shovel to dig with. I highly recommend this product.

Assembly is simple. Beep tone is loud! With the initial set up follow the instructions exactly. Keep all electronics and smart watches away. Don’t use a folding table either it throws the signal off. It runs on two 9v batteries, it does come with a pair but I would highly recommend getting good ones.
Great for all ages. Performed as it should. Found our property markers. Just be patient with it, accuracy is around 95%. Great quality for the money. Mine came with everything listed.

This detector is so much better then those I've used in the past. It's light weight and has a nice display. Out of the box assembly was a breeze and after turning on I went out side and immediately began finding coins. Coins that I missed with other detectors. It also has many types of metals. I havent had the nerve to test it in the water yet but over all I Highly recommend this.

I got this metal detector for some weekend treasure hunting, and it’s been sooo much fun! It’s professional grade, with great features that make it easy to use and highly accurate.

It really has some high accuracy, which helps me easily distinguish between different types of metals like gold and silver. The bigger LCD display is clear and easy to read, showing all the important information at a glance. The 5 modes offer options for different types of searches, which is really handy.

This metal detector is a great for both beginners and experienced users. It’s durable, accurate, and has a bunch of features that make treasure hunting fun and rewarding. Highly recommend!

I am impressed with this metal detector as it is user-friendly. My teen and I both enjoy using it.
