5.0 out of 5 stars REVIEW WITH THE MOST IMPORTANT INFO OF THIS XBOX CONTROLLER!!

Good packaging, it wrinkled a little because I used Amazon prime with free shipping.

Easy to connect to Windows 11 PC, it literally only took me less than 5 minutes + a Youtube tutorial to use it with Bluetooth.

It comes with AA batteries, they are not rechargeable, but they are of very good quality. I was playing Naruto Storm 4 on PC for 3 hours and it didn't go below 100%. They are from my Duracell brand.
(I write this a week after buying the controller: the AA batteries have not discharged yet, they continue to work at 100%, without failures, with more than 6 hours of play during the last week, that is, they are very good)

It comes with a code to configure the controller on the PC.

It comes with a manual on how to connect it to the PC safely in case you can't find a tutorial, even so, the Bluetooth mode is the best.

The grip, the quality of the buttons, plastics and so on is of good quality. The paint is also of good quality.

It is not metal, it is plastic with a metal design similar to gold.

It responds well to PC games, and the PC detects it very easily, since the PC with wind 11 and 10. They already come with those configurations. I don't know previous versions.

Yes, if you buy it from this link or sections, you will receive the original and not the Renewed version from Amazon. The renewed one from Amazon comes with some system failures, there is nothing at the moment. Additionally, in the description of this page it tells you that the manufacturer is Microsoft. Otherwise, with the other page that tells you that the manufacturer is Amazon.

The lowest price I found it at was $54, on Amazon prime day it is $56. On black Friday I don't know.

If you want to use it at night, the buttons tend to make a lot of noise, especially A,X,B,Y. They sound a lot.

On the other hand, it can be connected to PS2, PS3, Wii etc. emulators. Just look for the option that says Xinput or something similar in the current emulator. In my case, I'm playing God of War One on PS3 and it works great with the controller. The same on the PS2, I already did some tests on that one too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great on PCs just like it's predecessors!

The “core” controller is the latest iteration of the xbox controller and from a quick glance it can be difficult to spot a difference from the xbox one controller but there are some subtle ones.

The core controller now sports a textile grip texture at the rear of the controller and at the top of the LT and RT triggers. I have never had an issue with slippage on my previous xbox one controller but the texture is a welcome addition and it is very subtle which didn’t cause any discomfort in my hands. The Dpad now sports a similar look to the old 360 design but despite this it thankfully works like a regular Dpad and seems to be much more “clicky” now. It’s responsive and will work fine on platformers and similar style games though it would not be my first preference for fighting games. The only other addition I could spot is the share button which I understand is to capture games clips and screens. The analog sticks feel the same to me and the controller still requires double AA batteries although a battery pack can be purchased separately.

Annoyingly, unlike my previous xbox controllers I was not able to get this working via Bluetooth on Ubuntu but connection through USB works with no issues so I just use it like that. I have tested it on a Windows 11 machine and the Bluetooth connection works as expected. Just make sure to select the section under Bluetooth devices that specifically mentions xbox controllers.

The version I purchased was the electric volt that sports a two tone colour variant with a Kermit style green at the front and plain white at the back. Initially I thought that white would have quickly become dirty but after a few months of usage this was thankfully not the case. The grip texture strangely does not collect grime buildup which is much appreciated although I wonder what sorcery did they conjure to make this possible?

Even if you are primarily a mouse and keyboard player it’s always handy to have a controller in the event you stumble across a game that demands it and I don’t think you can go wrong with this controller which can be had for <50 dollars on sale. I think it’s a perfect pickup if you need a new controller or replacement BUT If you already have a working xbox one controller I don’t think it’s worth spending money for this as an “upgrade” unless of course you really need that share button functionality. Personally, I think the PS5 controller wins the competition this round with newer tech like haptic and audio feedback for games that support it and that support does seem to be growing but that controller is substantially more expensive. You can’t go wrong with either but the core controller is in a much more affordable position particularly at sales prices.

Works great. Bought it to use with the new Amazon fire xbox streaming app and it works beautifully. Connected right up without any hassle and controls xbox, amazon fire, and amazon luna. My only issue is that the xbox home button could be a little more responsive, but it works and is not a frequently used button so it's a very minor issue.

Having been an Xbox owner for 20 years (xbox original, 360, 360 elite, xbox one halo edition and xbox series x) I have always loved the xbox controller, especially the original big boy that shipped with the 2002 xbox systems. It just fits my hands perfectly and over the years they just seem to get better.

I made this purchase to assist me with my gaming needs on pc and my phone when I am away from my xboxes and prefer gaming with controllers compared to keyboard and mouse setups. It works great with the bluetooth connection to my gaming laptop and to my android phone. Very little lag or delay when playing and it seems to have longer battery life via bluetooth mode than connected to an xbox, so I typically can get 8-10 hours out of my controller on bluetooth vs connected to xbox and getting maybe 6-8 hours depending what I am playing.

Great controller feels, the grips make holding this controller a pleasure, and compared to my xbox one controllers, it feels bigger, but thinner in hand, hard to describe properly, but it's a much more satisfied feeling holding this controller compared to a 360 or xbox one controller by far.

In fact, due to the amazing price I got this controller for, I grabbed 2 just to have a backup for either my system or if I need a second controller for a fellow game to join me (aka my wife) while I/we attempt to master the digital realms!
