I purchased two of these for my home office/game room. They were very affordable, and the color is nice. Additionally, they were easy to put together for the most part.

That being said, they do seem a bit flimsy--the instruction manual itself says that each shelf can only hold 15lbs--so I would not want to use this for books or anything heavy. Additionally, as can be expected at this price, they're particle board, and several of the pieces don't line up particularly well. Also, one of the bottom pieces (labeled B) didn't have the holes marking where to attach the part that goes along the ground in the front (part C), and in the other package, one of the little plastic feet didn't have a nail in it.

Overall, for the price and what I got them for, these are fine. I wouldn't put them in a living room or somewhere like that, nor would I put anything heavy (like books) on them, but for a home office, bedroom, or game room, these could be a decent option.

I bought four of these to shelve my books and love them. Very easy to put together, good and sturdy for flat pack shelves.

Most bookshelves are way deeper then they need to be for hardcovers, much less paperbacks, and take up an annoying amount of wasted floor space because of that.

Each individual shelf was tall enough to hold standard and even slightly taller hardcovers and trade paperbacks easily. Not many "oversized" volumes, but I expected that.

All four were bought from the warehouse, so they were returns and the packaging was obliviously not perfect (one had been re-packed). And one did not have all the needed screws, but I was able to use some basic hardware store wood screws as substitutes with no ill-effects. All the pieces were in perfect shape nonetheless.

I ordered these bookshelves with specific measurements in mind. In that regard they are perfect, fitting into the space just as i expected, so I give it 5 stars there.

They were easy enough to assemble, but since the shelves are not adjustable, but attached to the sides, assembly took a bit longer than some other shelves I have assembled. Since I did not have any issues with understanding how to assemble and I received all the necessary parts , I give the assembly process 5 stars as well.

The shelves are sturdy enough for my purposes, but if you want to pack it full of heavy books, they may not hold up well in the long term. I recommend taking into account the weight limits given in the description. Based on the description, and my experience so far, I give it 5 stars there, too.

Where I took a star off my overall review is with the sturdiness of the very top of the bookcase. My husband was looking fir a specific book and when he stood up he steadied himself with the corner of the top shelf. It did not completely damage it, but I did need to glue a couple blocks of wood to reinforce the connection where the shelf is attached to the sides. For extra measure, I did the same with the inside shelves as well. If they would include some type of reinforcement fir added sturdiness, this would have elevated my overall review to 5 stars.

All in all, I do recommend these shelves, and would purchase again.

I bought the shelves used thinking it would not matter if it was scuffed up or something. I was surprised ALL the pieces were there AND it was easy to put together! You cannot tell it was used either. It looks like new. And it is small enough to fit in the spot I wanted it to go into, yet big enough to actually accommodate my books! I have them stacked flat, and some standing up. They all fit both ways! Lucky find!

This is a basic and nice looking bookshelf until you look too closely at it. It is cheaply made, the undersides of the shelves aren't even black. It arrived broken in half, they did replace it and pick up my return which was nice. The replacement is also damaged, some of the black is missing from a front facing piece, but I will just paint it. The styrofoam packaging did little to protect it and also resulted in a million little tiny pieces of Styrofoam all over my house, which is worrisome with cats and children. It will serve its purpose and looks okay, but if I did not purchase this during a significant sale I would have returned it.

Very nice inexpensive little bookcase. Easy to put together and looks nice. shelves will not hold very told books. I bought this to display Anime figures and it works great for this. Only problem two of my figures have to sit on top because they are to tall to fit on the shelves. I'm happy with the bookcase and the price.

A great little sturdy shelf. The instructions were easy to follow and took around 30 minutes from start to finish. It looks great, easily holds my toddlers books and toys. Mine came with everything needed for assembly with a few extra screws and such in case one gets lost. This would easily fit the fabric storage cubes to help add some extra design to whatever room you wanted to put this in. Overall, good product.
