Healthier nails + gorgeous long-lasting color? Yes please!

I bought this to help protect my nails between doing gel polish and acrylics, and it definitely helps restore my nails, but it's also so beautiful in its own right that I now reach for it all the time. The formula and color are so forgiving - even if you don't paint the edges perfectly, it still looks good, and it dries quickly but not so quickly that you can't wipe it off your cuticles if needed. It self-levels beautifully so you don't have to worry about streaks. The shade "Milky" is the perfect slightly translucent white - it's like OPI's "Funny Bunny" but with a less-streaky formula, and it only takes 2 coats instead of 3 (because who has time for that?). I'm mostly impressed with how long this lasts: I have thin, brittle nails, and I like to do stuff with my hands, so I'm lucky if I can go 3 days before chipping regular nail polish (yes, even using cuticle oil and lotion regularly). But this stuff lasts me up to a week, and that's without a topcoat. It's also an excellent base coat for polishes that need a more solid base for their color to really pop, so I'll use one coat of this and one or two coats of color on top. It feels expensive to spend this much on one bottle, but considering I'm more than halfway through that bottle in less than 6 months and all the money I've wasted on inferior products through the years, I'm definitely getting my money's worth. I'm going back for more colors of the illuminating concealer, and I'm going to try some of Londontown's brighter colors too. Highly recommend.

I used to go to the nail salon all the time, but with the cost of a gel manicure at $45-60+ where I live, it was just getting ridiculous! So I started doing my own nails at home, and also wearing press ons. But when I do my nails at home, for some reason it takes forever for the polish to dry and then I get sheet marks on my nails. But then I tried this!! I put on 2-3 coats and bam, it's dry in a few minutes and I'm ready to go. It looks so pretty and lasts for like 2 weeks! And that's with no base and no top coats!! Is it pricey, yes. But I would say it's so worth it!

I don't write reviews very often, but I am so pleased with this product! I've been doing dips for years and decided to try the more contemporary "soap" nail trend. This product costs more than your average filler, but does so much more! My nails were bumpy and ragged, this filled and smoothed while also creating a lighting/reflection effect that made my nails look clean and fresh. Has also added strength to my shredding nails! My cuticles need a lot of work, I just moved to the desert from the humid south, so ignore them. I'm 60 and while I'm not striving to be trendy, this clean, fresh look makes me feel a bit more up to date. I topped them with ILNP Glass Candy top coat- strong and shiny!

I absolutely love the Illuminating Nail Concealer. I bought Bubble almost a year ago and just replaced it. I get compliments all the time when I wear it. I just bought the Quartz...you know, options. And I love it just as much. (Shown with 2 coats and a clear topcoat in the photo.) The Bubble is more of a iridescent pink color. The Quartz is more cool-toned iridescent, less noticeable. I will be rotating both colors moving forward. As far as lasting...my nails are very thin and peel. The flex in my nail causes nail polish to chip more easily. I like that these colors don't show the chips as quickly. If I want them fresh looking I'll do them 2x/week. If I don't care, 1x/week.

I received it on Fri and applied 2 coats that evening. It held up well over the weekend (while cooking, doing dishes, amd cleaning). Even after 2 long hot baths, it hadn't chipped. The finish didn't offer quite as much coverage/smoothness as I'd hoped as I could still see the ridges quite well in my nails. So these pics show 3 coats on my nails.

I am half Asian and my skin has a yellow undertone. I wasn't entirely certain which shade to buy. This is the Bare one. I'm satisfied with it, but might try a different shade if/when I purchase again. It's still too soon to tell how this will hold up over time and whether it will make the $20 expense worth it.

I bought the pink -- very nice color, not old lady looking, very on trend... I put on 2 coats and a week later, put another coat (3 total). It was about the end of the 3rd week before one or two nails started to chip. I don't wear gloves to clean, so this durability is great! I also like that it's made in the USA. ( I have them on my toes, and it's going on 3 weeks, I may put on a 3rd coat, and it'll probably last another, which would make it a month, woo hoo.)

Love the look but damaged nails

There are pros and cons to this polish. I waited until I wore it for about three months before giving a review. Pros: I love the natural "polished" look. I do not typically paint my nails because I'm a low-maintenance type of girl, however, there are occasions when I need to look more put-together. Two coats and I'm good to go! The color stays on for about a week. The photos are of my nails with two coats of Pink Illuminating Nail Concealer. I do get compliments when wearing the polish. Cons: A few nails have peeled at the tips and every nail has broken because they have become more brittle. I wore it for three months straight before they started to break. I had to stop using it to let my nails grow back. The photos were taken after a two-week break from using the polish. I will still use it on occasion but not consistently like I did before. I will not be ordering it again, considering the price and the damage done to my nails.

As an art therapist with my hands in art materials all day, I stopped polishing my nails because regular polish usually chips in 2 or 3 days.

I love the pale color of this “nail concealer,” but more importantly, it goes on very easily ( I love the brush) and lasts a week or more. My nails feel stronger when wearing it and seem to grow more easily. I’ve actually started receiving compliments on how my fingernails look!

While expensive, it does go on sale sometimes and I love the look and feel of my nails while wearing it.
