    I purchased this tutu in white for my daughter who is a competitive swimmer. She and her teammates want to wear white tutus for their meet in December. This tutu's material is great quality. It lays well, has several layers of tulle, and an elastic waist. The tutu is long enough for my daughter who is nearly 5'8". I loved the price point. Highly recommend. She can wear it for a Halloween costume, as a crinoline under a skirt, or to more swim meets.

    Size and fit was perfect. My daughter is 9yrs old 4'10" about 85lbs. The skirt was a perfect fit with plenty of stretch for a bigger sized person. It came to about her knees. It was comfortable for her. The wait band has satin over the elastic which made it ride up but wasn't a big deal. The quality was good! Seemed a little thin at first but I ironed it and made it look fuller.

    Yes, you need to wear something under.
