Wanted a small, minimal sign for the dishwasher to be able to quickly tell if the dishes inside are clean or dirty. I searched through a few different designs and this one stood out to me the most. It isn't the cheapest style of this category, but it is definitely the most elegant. It is small enough to be unnoticeable at a distance but large enough to read when close.
I really like the simplicity of the font as well as the thoughtful use of the color. The darker grey "dirty" side mostly blends in with the stainless steel color so it isn't distracting, and the white "clean" side is very easy to see so you can know it's clean at a glance. The stainless steel border matches my dishwasher perfectly as well. Magnet holds very firmly and there is adhesive strip included on the back if needed. The metal slider glides smoothly from each side. Great way to easily keep track of the rounds of dishes.

We invested in this because it looked higher quality than other plastic versions. I think the stainless steel product was the right choice as it looks less tacky than others that I have seen. Like any stainless steel product, it can get smudged so we have to clean it (along with our dishwasher) sometimes. The magnet is strong and doesn’t budge easily. The toggle is easy to slide back and forth between clean and dirty. Overall we think it was a great investment and has been very useful for us.
