    This is basic first aid for cats and dogs not some do this or that to avoid the vet.
    Sometimes in emergency situations people forget the most simplest of things because something they love is injured. This app gives you basic first aid tips to help in a variety of situations to help your pet while seeking professional medical attention by a vet if the situation calls for it.
    As a pet owner for many decades I find this app to be a solid resource for basic first aid for cats and dogs. $0.99 or 99 coins is an insignificant price to help something you love...

    The care information provided seems OK, if a little sparse in some areas. My biggest complaint is the fact that the "Emergency Tools"/"Vet hospital locator" is completely useless in my area--There are two 24 hour emergency vets within a reasonable distance, but as far as I can tell neither of them is listed. Even if they were, the dozens of non-emergency vet listings would take precious minutes to go through to find the one that was actually open (And yet the list is far from complete--neither of the Vets that I normally use are listed.)

    A Google search for "24 hour animal hospital" or similar is going to get you more relevant results. Really, if you have a pet that you care about, you should take the time to locate the nearest 24 hour emergency vet and put the phone/address in your phone or somewhere you can find it in a hurry. Better yet, take a trip and find it this weekend, so you'll know how to get there when minutes count.

    Not encyclopaedia, this handbook has the basics you need in an emergency and things are easy to find. A lot of it is common sense but sometimes that goes out the window in an emergency. Great little ap.

    not worth your time, does not answer any pertinent questions about pets, cats or dogs. Don't waste your time getting this, look for detailed aid for pets.

    This app is pretty good for just casual information. The CPR and First Aid information is adequate and helpful. However, I would like to see it contain a little bit more information about other conditions and maybe other species besides just dogs and cats. Overall, it is a good tool.

    SERIOUSLY THE BEST DOG SAVING APP IN THE KNOWN WORLD! I worry, like any decent parent, all the time about my dog, Rocky. And when he threw up constipation,I got scared. I started to panic, got my wits about me and started reading.I have one app for dog anatomy on my tablet and this one on my phone. Between this and my doggiebff,I found a meal he can eat to stiffen his stools and he keep his strength up.

    Suggest this to ANY pet owner/sitter. Ours mistakenly left a cat outside and he was stricken with Hypothermia, heat exhaustion. Cat was lethargic, vomiting, couldn't eat or drink, etc. I immediately checked the symptoms, relayed first aid info and she followed thru until reaching vet's office. A simple mistake could've been a tragic loss but was averted with this app.
    Can't say enough great things about this program.
    Does it every scenario? No. Hopefully it will have what you need, if you ever need it, until you can get your furry friend/family member to the vet.

    I truly hope this is one app you will have and never have to use.
