This silicone pad is a somewhat thick protector to be placed atop an induction cooker. We have a small portable cooker. It was very easy to use kitchen scissors to make the pad fit, with plenty left over for other uses.

The pad is a neutral grey color and has a pattern of broken lines that effectively allow for some air circulation without impeding the induction heating action.

The only negative I have to offer is that the patterned surface is somewhat challenging to clean.

Highly recommended for induction cooktops.

Would have given it 5 stars if it would cover the entire cooktop. It's not quite 36". More like 30".

What caught my eye looking at this was for draining... I have a garden and will be washing tons of vegetables as the summer goes on, this will be perfect for that. And for handwashing dishes or pots and pans, somewhere to put them besides the small dish drainer. I'll also be using it to set hot canning jars on when I process all those darn vegetables! And since it's heat safe up to 450 degrees, you can set hot casserole dishes or baking sheets, whatever, straight from the oven, thus protecting that expensive countertop!

Liner fits and helps. Great idea to help keep clean and it does fit perfectly. I really like it. The cover protect the area that I used to have to take the grime off and scrub the top of the stove. Now I can just take those out throw them in the dishwasher clean around the outside of the stove and I'm done I don't have to sit and worry about having to clean the stove everyday.
