Haunted Hunting Camp is a short story that is inspired by a gruesome murder that happened in Northern Georgia in 2008. When Harper wakes up locked in a room, she has to figure out why she's there, and how to escape. Are the strange sounds she hears the man who took her? Maybe she's drugged or hallucinating? Could it be something supernatural? Or is it a person who can help her escape? Let’s hope someone can help her, because if not, she’s doomed.

    Such a great read! I think finished it in less than an hour because I just couldn't put it down. A whimsical mix of suspense, sadness, humor, and just a touch of the supernatural. Highly recommend ????

    Excellent story written from the perspective of the victim. We feel her confusion, frustration, embarrassment and finally resolve as we read through the story. It has a wonderful twist at the end.

    Haunted hunting camp by EN. Chanting was nothing like I expected. The author writes beautiful descriptive prose and makes the macabre kidnapping of Harper heartfelt. As the reader I became one with the character and cared about her hoping she’d somehow survive. This is not simply a horror tale of a kidnapping. Channing turned the story into a ghostly encounter that had me glued to the pages. I happen to enjoy the supernatural and the ghost who she befriended was done realistically. I wanted Harper to have a happy ending despite what happened to her and the twist at the end tied up all the loose ends perfectly. I’m looking forward to her novel at the end of November. I highly recommend Haunted Hunting Camp for readers of horror and the supernatural. Enjoy!
