The packets were very easy to use. Once I opened the package, I realized that we would need to use more than 1 in the fire. It recommended using 2. We used 4 so we could throw one on each side of the fire for the best viewing purposes for our event. Each side looked a little different and you could see different colors from different angles. That was pretty cool. The downside was that it only lasted for maybe 15-20 minutes. But it sure was pretty to see for that time frame.

Does what it says. 2 packs at once are most effective in a big fire for razzle dazzle. Lasts quite a while so you feel like you got your $$ worth. Adults that can act like adults are best to handle because the urge to open the pack and pour the powder on the fire appears to be pretty tempting to a large age and maturity range. Let others know you’re tossing them in so no one cooks a weenie or marshmallow over it, or freaks out and throws their beer in the fire. Just sayin. The colors are beautiful.

These packages can be dropped unopened onto your campfire. They made pretty colors on the flames for over 15 minutes each. We all enjoyed the colorful fire. The package burns up in the fire, so there's nothing to remove or clean up. They are versatile, in that you can use one or all at once. They were durable for our travel to campsite with no damage or issues during transport. For a fun added experience with camping, these are a good value for money.

I purchased these because our troops would at a week long scout summer camp during 4th of July and the Scouts would not see fireworks. Two packets did the trick setting our campfire ablaze with bright, lively colors (for a fair amount of time.)

Bought for a camping trip with my young nephews. Convinced them I had magic powers ????. Loads of fun. One packet changes colors in the fire for like 10-15minutes.
