My child received a television set as a gift from a friend of ours. However, the remote control that came with the TV was in poor condition. Therefore, we decided to search on Amazon for a suitable replacement. After browsing through various options, we came across this remote control and found that it was the ideal choice to replace the original one. It is not only durable but also easy to set up and use with the TV.

Inexpensive replacement remote for my LG TV that works better than the original remote it came with! I've been using the LG ThinQ remote app on my phone to control my bedroom TV for the last few years once my previous replacement remote stopped working, so it has been so nice to have a normal remote!

I love that you can take it out of the package, place 2 AAA batteries in it, and it will instantly connect to your TV without doing any type of setup or having to press tons of different buttons in a specific order. The other sellers of this type of remote all had devices that required disc shaped batteries, so using AAA batteries for this remote makes it easier to replace when the time comes. Compared to my original remote, I didn't have Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+, or LG Channels buttons, but this remote has all of them, which makes navigation much more convenient. My TV responds instantly to the press of buttons without any lag, which is refreshing. All of my fellow ThinQ app users will know what I'm talking about.

The only thing that could improve this remote would be to use glow in the dark buttons or to have a backlighg so using the remote in the dark is easier. There is braile next to the power button and some raised bumps on the volume and channel keys so you can orient your finger positioning easier, so bonus point for that ay least.
