I bought this peppermint oil to mix with another liquid to keep roaches from entering my house. According to my research, it was the best odor to use. Roaches hate the smell of peppermint. I put it on my door entry, around my window frames, and anywhere else they were coming in. I also sprayed it at the bottom of my sliding glass door entry. It has worked great. I also found that if I saw one who "dared' to come in and walk on my floor, spraying them with it killed it. I need to find it by the gallon size. Well, maybe not with winter coming soon.
The article gave the top 10 ways to get rid of these nasty bugs and the peppermint was the first one listed.

Instead of using dandruff shampoos with zinc, I mix peppermint and thyme essential oils in regular shampoo and conditioner. I prefer the way my scalp feels and hair looks with this combination, and I recommend the oil.

TLDR: this essential oil is NOT PURE PEPPERMINT OIL – MENTHA PIPERITA! It is FALSELY LABELED!!! AND IT SMELLS AWFUL!!!

I fell for a coupon! I saw a coupon for this product and so I thought I would give it a chance and save a couple of dollars off of my previous brand, Siva, which I was very happy with. BIG MISTAKE!

This essential oil had just one job and that was to be PURE PEPPERMINT OIL - SPECIFICALLY, MENTHA PIPERITA – just as it says on its label. And it COMPLETELY FAILED!!!

Rather than fill my space with an intoxicatingly and hypnotically wonderful aroma of pure mentha piperita – THIS OIL REEKED TO HIGH HEAVEN!! It STANK UP MY ROOM AND IT MADE ME FEEL LITERALLY WOOZY AND SICK. I had to rinse my spray bottle out more than half a dozen times to get the stink out!!!

What ingredients are in this oil other than mentha piperita? I do not know! But it is vile and wretched and disgusting! And it is NOT PURE MENTHA PIPERITA!

Let me emphasize that I am a peppermint connoisseur. I absolutely love the smell of peppermint oil. Specifically mentha piperita, which is its scientific name. This species is a hybrid cross between watermint and spearmint. And yes, it's important to be aware of the scientific name so that you can get the correct oil. There is another kind of peppermint oil which is a lot cheaper called mentha arvensis, which is made from a different mint species, also known as corn mint, or wild mint, and which does not smell good in my opinion.

I don't know if this company Kukka deliberately adulterates / cuts their oil with different (cheaper) ingredients, or if the fault lies with their supplier. But since essential oils are their specialty, I expect that they would at the very least SMELL the oil, know that it's not right, and not sell it. But they did sell it, and they are selling it. This leads me to believe that they absolutely are aware that their oil is not pure, and contains one or more ingredients other than what are listed on the bottle. And this is completely unacceptable.

This is my first purchase with Kukka, so I cannot comment if this is a recent occurrence, a one-time failure, or if this has been going on for a long time.

I have definitely not tried every brand on Amazon, so I can't speak to the other brands. But the two brands that I can recommend are Young Living Essential Oils – which is a premium product at a corresponding price point -- and Siva, which definitely costs less, and which still smells great.

As for this brand, Kukka, I cannot and do not recommend them. I even set up a subscription, because the price was good. Needless to say, I am canceling the subscription, and I will be returning the two bottles I bought, if it's not too much of a pain in the ass.

Long story short, my quest to save a few dollars definitely did not work out.

As for now, I must say that, for me, Kukka is Kakka.

I bought this to spray around my bathroom floor to keep the ants out. I fill a spray bottle with water and drop a few drops of this peppermint in the spray bottle. I also spray the edge of my pillow before I go to sleep. It helps if your have a super sensitive nose. The peppermint scent block out all the other scents from reaching your nose while you sleep.

This does not smell like peppermint. It has a sharp and sour kind of scent that’s just… minty. It’s very unpleasant. Stinks up a room. I’m really upset that I paid 8.99 for this. I would save your money.
