    This makes filling the hummingbird feeders a breeze. So much better than boiling water and mixing your own. I just mix mine in a water bottle and end up with the perfect amount for my feeder. The birds seem to love it. One bag lasts me all season. I pour and mix over the sink and don’t have a mess to clean up. Definitely recommend.

    I have a feeder with a ring so the little birds can land on it, if they want to, and they come back for this nectar mix every year. They will even get in my way and chatter at me if I don't have the feeder ready for them when they arrive in the spring! This mix seems to be their favorite of all the concentrates and formulas that I have used. I think it may have something in it that helps keep it from turning into vinegar in the heat. It mixes easily with water. Use the formula on the bag. The mixture usually lasts until the hummingbirds drink it all up. If the heat and sunshine causes it to change color or if the birds do a quick taste and run, it probably needs changed for fresh mix. I save money mixing it up myself compared to the pre-made and concentrated liquid food.

    I like the idea of mixing just the right amount to keep the solution fresh, not only it is economical but it’s a nice way to prevent contamination of the solution. Great way to enjoy these beautiful creatures.

    This stuff is awesome. It’s very easy to make and so much cheaper. I have at least five or six hummingbirds coming here and it’s actually funny to watch them bully each other. I’ve had five of them drinking at once and I’ve had a few chase each other around. It’s right outside my windows so I love it.

    I never thought that the hummingbirds would find my first floor interior courtyard feeder, but they did, and they love it. They come all day long, during every sunlit hour. Only 3 tablespoons for 8 ounces of water, this bag will last forever.
