    I chose this set for my granddaughter because the suit was a little more modest than many of the mermaid swimmers. The tail is absolutely pointless except for play and pictures but she really enjoyed it way more than I thought it was worth personally. It was really sturdy and heavy except not made for tiny kid feet. Very uncomfortable for that and the straps disnt really do anything to keep it on. She picked up using it 'successfully' pretty quickly. It was worth it for the smiles♡

    My nieces love these, to the extent that they are annoying about wanting to wear them all day, with the fins, so they try to demand being carried. I wish the material was more durable like a good bathing suit. The fin was good and sturdy but the suit and the material of the tail not so much. It stretches out easily and doesn’t return to shape. The girls still love them. Just be advised if you don’t know please do not let small kids swim with a swim fin on unless a parent is holding them. Even great swimmers get bogged down and worn down quickly from a fin, so a child wouldn’t stand a chance at swimming with this without being a huge drowning risk. (I was a lifeguard for close to 10 years). Even with floaties on please don’t allow your children to use the big plastic fin part if they are alone.

    My daughter wanted this for her birthday trip coming up for the pool! I decided to order it and color is exactly as pictured, fits great and is so so fun! She loves it so much I can hardly keep her from changing into it constantly. So only battle, if you don’t want you kid in their swim suit 24/7 be prepared for the arguing ????

    The tail broke the first time my daughter tried to use this. She did not abuse it or use in in the wrong way. As soon as she moved it underwater, the plastic broke in half. She is very disappointed as she used her own money to purchase this. The swimsuit part was also way too small. Please, it looks cool, but buy a better quality product!
