I’ve used it for 3 weeks now at an insanely busy commercial kitchen and, yeppers, it is fast.
My other Chefs Du Parties have nicknamed it the Jitterbug due to its kinda large design and it’s simple functionality-it tells you the temperature and that is all. No timers, no fanciness.
And, to be honest as an older chef I appreciate the heck out of the large display that auto rotates and lights up.
I would buy this product again.

I've got large hands, so a larger thermometer is a nice fit. This one works great and the shake-awake or shake-on or whatever it's called is VERY handy. It's even got a magnet on it so I can keep it on the fridge or the front of the stove to have it at the ready. Just pick it up from where it is and it automatically turns on. I REALLY like that feature. And it's FAST. It does give you a reading in about half a second.
I think I know what my sisters are getting for Christmas this year!
