The backpack weighs 2 pounds. In the 3rd picture, I have it compared to a full size camera bag (right) and a DJI Mavic 3 bag (center-front). The DJI bag is a regular sized camera sling bag, so this Tarion bag is very compact and light for traveling.
Overall, it is a really well made, light traveling bag. I was hesitant to buy it, but now I'm overjoyed with the purchase for meeting and exceeding my expectations.

I have only 2 small issues with this backpack:
-Durability. Its a daily driver and it was not very expensive, so I am not surprised nor disappointed with what I got for the cost. The design of the straps coming off the laptop pouch causes extra stress on that material, if the strap was on the other side of the laptop zipper it would not have ripped. However, photos show this material has started coming apart. Pro-tip: keep the zipper on the sides, not on the top. This design makes it possible for the strap stress to pull open the zippers that keep your laptop safe, if you left the zippers on top.
Pockets: I love the organization of this backpack but wish that empty space above the zipper pocket was used to add a second zipper pocket. Just seems like a missed opportunity.
Personally, after 3 years, Im looking for something a hair larger with an extra couple pockets (that hopefully will last a little longer). But I've had 3 great years, this is my favorite backpack ever.
