I needed a smaller travel fan than the one I currently use. When I saw the reviews on this, I thought it would be a perfect fit for me. I usually need to keep mine on a USB plug as often I use it during the night on trips so need the longer power supply. I have plenty of longer USB cords to accommodate this. My main worry was the power.
I hooked this up and turned it on full....the fan actually slid across my glass-top table due to the fan's power! lol I had to put a book behind the base to keep it from moving. So if you need it for a smooth top table, I'd recommend maybe putting a silicone mat under it (as I keep one for my curling iron in my travel case anyway) to keep it from scooting away.
I did worry I wouldn't be able to angle the fan well since it doesn't pivot down or straight out, but putting it on its side fixed that for me as I use it while sleeping.
As fans go, it's pretty quiet too. All fans are going to make some level of sound, but it's very minimal...quietest fan I have now.
