5.0 out of 5 stars These are great cards. All the whining is about the price.

Very good card, especially if you're sticking to 1080p. This card plays anything we've tried and that includes Starfield, Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us, etc. The performance is solid while the real complaint lies with the price. Catch it on here as a second chance item and enjoy the savings.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I needed

I got this to put it to work on hardware video encoding, AI video processing and text/image generation. Wanted the 16gb VRAM more than the processing power because some of that stuff really eats it up. If you're just gaming I'm not sure many games would actually put that much VRAM to use before it hits its limit, but I guess you can never have too much. This has been great so far and it's probably about 3x faster than the RTX 3050 6gb I was using before, depending on what I'm using it for at the moment. As a bonus it's pretty good with gaming, but full disclosure I don't play a lot of newer games. I've been able to really crank up the settings on a lot of my favorites.

5.0 out of 5 stars Power efficiency!

I put this 4060ti into my girlfriend's gaming rig to replace a 3060 12GB with a failed fan and now I'm a little jealous.

All of the professional reviews I read about this card were kind of "meh", meaning they weren't particularly impressed with the performance and the MSRP at the time was about $50 higher before the price drop. Very few mentioned the relative power draw comparing this card to other similarly performing cards on the market.

It's around 15% to 20% slower in pure rasterization performance at stock speeds compared to my Powercolor Fighter RX 6800 16GB, but it's just sipping power at anywhere between 90 to 110 watts. If she stresses the 4060ti to the max then the power draw will finally go up to about 150 to 160 watts. She's also in a better position to game with raytracing and her DLSS looks just a little better than my FSR.

On the power draw side, for comparison, my RX 6800 cruises at around 180 to 190 watts and goes up to 225 watts when I push it very hard. That's around $60 to $70 dollars extra electricity cost per year compared to her card.

Fans on the 4060ti usually spin between 700 to 900 RPMs and go up to 1,500 RPMs when stressed to the max. My RX 6800 is quite a bit louder with fans spinning between 2,200 RPMs and 2,700 RPMs.

Getting the 4060ti didn't quite make me regret my RX 6800 purchase but I would have been just as happy to get this instead. This could apply to anyone looking at a 7700xt since it performs almost identically to my card.

Thankyou Gigabyte for making a great model of this 4060ti 16GB!

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for SFF builds!

Wanted a smaller, 2 slot RTX card for my Lian Li A4-H2O and this was perfect. I used the offset mounts for the PCIe riser and it puts the graphics card close to the side panel for the vents to allow it to draw in cooler air direct from outside of the case. Ignore the reviews and social media influencers hate on the RTX 4060 Ti. While we would all prefer less price, it is what it is. This is quite capable of 1440p gaming. Tweak some of the detail settings and use DLSS and you'll be able to play almost any game at 1440p above 100 FPS.

Temperatures can reach 75C when gaming for extended periods but that's expected with such a small cooler. The fans can spin up quite a bit but fortunately the graphics card is on the right side of the A4-H2O case which helps with noise.

Excellent video card! Will play any game on full settings. It just gets a bit hot, so make sure your case has good cooling.

3.0 out of 5 stars Budget card. You could do better with used than this for this price.

For the money you are getting something that will run games today, you will not get something that will run things in a year. I was using this for Di Vinci and gaming and it didnt really cut it. If you can afford to get something better do it. If you are running a budget gaming system, I would get a used card of a higher quality. Having said that this would be a good card for casual gaming.
