I needed this particular connector combination and they work well. I later found a shorter version which better suits use on the craft. These are still great and used in charging my lipo batteries with this connector. I would recommend these if you are not the best at soldering your own.

I had some old JST connector 2S batteries leftover from an old helicopter that died and these allowed me to plug them right into the XT30 connector on my ESC - now I can fly longer without buying more batteries yet.
