    I read almost every Cassi Hart book that comes out & am typically pleased overall. Much thought goes into characters and good storyline’s with the best romance/spice. However, that can quickly go south when you consistently find a lot of stupid/poor/missed edits in the text…it really starts to irritate you enough to actually write a review on an author that you really like (only reason giving 4 instead of 3).
    Are you short on editors? Too expensive? My 24 yr daughter graduated Magna Cum Laude with Bachelor's in English (desiring to be an editor one day). That was 2 yrs ago & has yet to find FT job; works 3 PT jobs-2 are tutoring & other in retail. Reading this just irritates me since clearly there is a need for editors- you’re just going the cheap way??

    David and Harry were best friends and started a green company together. Harry's wife passed, and a couple years later, he was dying leaving behind Tara, his newly 18- year old daughter. A few years later, David gets Tara out of jail and immediately falls for her. HEA, but such a sweet read to see their story.

    When you are grieving the loss of your dad and his best friend comes to rescue you, things start to change in your life. School issues. Age difference. Business issues. Is it all too much? Great story! Intense. Emotional. Love. Cassi Hart, you did it again!!????????????

    For me this was an ok read. Of course it was well written, decent plot and likeable characters. It was a story that didn't have anything WOW about it, just a decent read.

    Known each since she was 8, so it's not safe since he's been with others.

    No condom use

    No OW/OM drama.

    Different way of portraying the older man who was to look after his best friends daughter. I thoroughly enjoyed his reaction and response after seeing her again years later. He went from iceberg to roaring fire. Had her moved in same day. They really were good for each other. Complimented each other.

    An amazing story. Four years after loosing her father, Tara is arrested for being with protestors. She was there to meet her friend, but just as she reached the site the police arrived. She was arrested with some of the protestors, but her friend later told the police she was tgere to meet her. But she could not sign her release papers. So she had to call David, her fathers friend and business partner. One look at Tara after all these years and David knows she is the one for him. But she is much younger than him and his best friends daughter. Will these thoughts come between them or will David finally admit that he loves Tara? Loved reading their story. Thanx.
