I appreciate the simplified approach of this course on several complex topics. I walked away with a solid understanding of everyday action steps like using tax-advantaged investing accounts, such as IRAs and 401(k)s, to a general understanding of how to analyze stocks, the Federal Reserve, company financials, and so much more. It is a rich course that provides so much value for novices and the experienced, and well-heeled alike. I am so glad that I chose this course, and I am happy to share it with my family. Professor DeGennaro also has an approachable teaching style peppered with humor and delivered with candor.

5.0 out of 5 stars Understand all these metrics as they relate to individual stocks
Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2021
If you've ever looked at some of the stats associated with a stock (PE, EPS, dividend yield, etc.) it can all seem pretty confusing. This course will do a great job explaining how the stock market works, so you can understand all these metrics as they relate to individual stocks, and how all the smaller puzzle pieces fit together into the bigger picture of the stock market. People hear about the stock market every day in the news, but most people are not so clear on how it all works. When you take this course, you'll be one of the people who has a much better sense of what it all means.

Professor DeGennaro explains the Stock Market function in a straightforward compelling manner with great examples. His delivery style is second to none, by keeping you focused with a great delivery style, and better yet great charts and examples. I found this approach lacking in other financial courses. If you are a student of the financial world, this is the course for you. You will be compelled to keep going thru the lectures until you master the knowledge. I highly recommend it to any student of the Stock Market and the Financial World.

WOW! Beyond my expectations and well worth the price. I have been investing for years and know a fair amount about the market's activities and fluctuations. This course puts everything into perspective and when you listen the sixth time, you gain a more rich experience.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting....

Definitely, Mr. Degennaro knows his stock market "stuff", if you will. He touches on several aspects of the stock market and breaks things down rather well given the time allotment of each chapter. As a beginner to the stock market, I was slightly confused as far as Jargon and Market lingo is concerned...I listened to most of the chapters twice to really get the sense of the material. I will say that after listening to the program and considering the cost...it's a great deal; in our favor!
Of course, not any one program will give you EVERYTHING you need to begin investing but if knowledge is power, you can't go wrong with this course. I am a bit of a skeptic, and stickler when it comes to reviews especially when they don't wow me. However, credit must be given wherever it is deserved. In this case, it deserves it enough to be given a fair review. It's a no brianer for me since, I received to amazon audio credits for free.
