I tried several different prenatal vitamins when I was pregnant (including some expensive brands my doctor had samples of). I used these for a few years and don't remember ever having a bottle with a really strong odor (another brand smelled rancid to me). These prenatals have everything you need for baby’s growth and development. They do have a green/earthy smell and taste, that is stronger during first trimester. Overall I have been happy with these and have been taking them throughout my pregnancy

TTC here so I started a prenatal, first time I tried these the moment the pill hit my tongue it tasted like fish! However as the day went on I had NO fishy burps! Even on an empty stomach. Cons: does have fishy smell and you will smell it in your oil glands around your nose.

I’ve been taking these vitamins for several years while trying to get pregnant. I know there are a lot of fancier and more expensive prenatals out there, but I don’t think those factors are necessary when you’ve got all you need with these. I’ve studied the nutrition labels across several brands and I always keep coming back to Nature Made. And you get a larger concentration of various vitamins and minerals, compared to a lot of the more exclusive brand names. Some of those don’t even offer the minimum recommended values for folate, which is super important for fetal spine And neurological development.. The pills are bigger but what else do you expect for multivitamins. They’re gel coated and go down easily. I take mine in the morning and experience no stomach upset afterward. I’m quite happy with these and don’t really plan to bother looking for any other prenatal vitamin.
