We have a relatively large driveway, shoveling it could take up to 2 hours depending on how heavy the snowfall. This little thing cuts that in half at least. Pro's: electric so no engine to maintain, relatively simple assembly, powers through sizeable accumulations. Con's: you'll need a heavier gauge extension cord than average (about $100 for a good length) to pull enough amps, you have to be careful of where the cord is at all times. Overall, I'd buy it again. And if you get it and don't like it, I saw folks in my neighborhood selling used electric throwers for nearly what I paid for this new. So use it a season or two and then upgrade if you want.
