About this item

Bianca
Here I am. 19-years-old, and I've never had a boyfriend. The last thing I was expected to become was a mom. That all changed when my sister unexpectedly passed away and I had to immediately take custody of her newborn son.

Four years later, after fighting tooth and nail to keep him, his biological father is contesting the adoption. To make matters worse, I’ve just started a new job at a high-pressure media company and my asshole boss,
Jason Ellsworth, is doing everything he can to make my life a living hell—and looking hot while doing it.

As our attraction grows and my custody battle rages, I wonder if taking this job was the best decision I’ve ever made.

Bianca and Jason is a sweet and spicy instalove story between an unexpected single mom and the boss who changes her life forever. Virgin heroine, obsessive boss, and of course HEA.

5.0 out of 5 stars Becoming a family man

Media mogul Jason runs a tight, no-nonsense ship, so much so that he fires his new assistant Bianca on her first day for being 10 minutes late. Because it wasn’t her fault, he relents but keeps a close watch on her — she’s the best assistant he’s ever had and stirs feelings in him that he’s never had. Single mom to her late sister’s son Oliver, Bianca has bigger problems than her confusing attraction to her strict boss. Four years after her son’s adoption, the biological father is now suing for custody. When Jason finds out, he’ll do anything to help, including becoming a part of a family he never knew he wanted.

The chemistry between these two was oozing from the pages and I loved that they tried to out-annoy each other. They were both pretty terrible at reading each other but sorted themselves out when Bianca’s legal trouble started. Jason really stepped up to the plate and Bianca learned she could rely on him.

The story is standalone but if you read the first one, you’ll recognize some people who are mentioned. (P.S. Selina got what she deserved.)

4.0 out of 5 stars Hearts At Stake

Bianca's world turned upside down when her sister passed away and she took custody of her baby nephew. That was four years ago. She's fought hard to keep her adopted son's biological dad out of the picture, doing her best to provide a safe and loving home for the boy who calls her mom. A job with the wealthy Jason Ellsworth is the financial stability she needs. The attraction she feels for the older man, isn't.

At least, that's what she keeps trying to tell herself.

I found this story fairly satisfying. For a workplace romance, it filled the craving I had for something a little familiar and a little different. Bianca's predicament as a single mom/untouched heroine was certainly interesting and different enough for me. The progression from boss/employee to lovers was the familiarity that grounded the story. A decent story in this series.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love me an age gap forbidden love story.

Another great read from Cassi Hart. This is a love at first sight between Jason, the boss, and Bianca his assistant. It was a bit of a rough start as Jason tried to fight his attraction, but it smoothed out when he found out she was a single mother and all he wanted to do was make her life easier. Bianca was so strong. Taking on raising your newborn nephew at 19 is not for the weak. So to see her finally find a man who just wants to support her in anyway is wonderful to see.
Great chemistry and great story. I just had one eye rolling moment. It was the timing of losing her virginity, it just didn’t work for me. But it might work for you. Definitely recommend.
I did receive an ARC and this is my honest opinion.

The author does an excellent job of establishing Bianca as a strong and capable woman. We all need support sometimes, no matter how much we hate admitting it, and Bianca is no exception. Jason is there to help and support her when she needs it most, leading to sharing secrets of all kinds. This is a delightful, quick read!.

5.0 out of 5 stars Insta-Love in the Office

This book is a straight-up rollercoaster of feels! ???? It's got all the juicy drama you could want - a surprise baby, a hot-as-hell boss, and enough steamy scenes to make you sweat. ???? The sparks between Bianca and Jason are fire ????, and watching them navigate their complicated situation is totally addictive. It's a quick, steamy read that'll leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. The custody battle adds some serious stakes, and watching Bianca juggle motherhood, work, and a budding romance is lowkey inspiring. If you're into insta-love with a side of office romance and single parent vibes, this one's a no-brainer. Just be ready for some serious heart-eyes and maybe a few fanning-yourself moments!.

Bianca and Jason is a sweet age gap story. Bianca at the age of 19 is left with her sister’s baby after she passes during child birth. Spin years later and she gets hired by a grumpy CEO as his assistant. It’s a great love story ???? short and sweet just like I like them.

The magnetic attraction happens immediately for both of them. They hold off the sparks until one day when Bianca has to leave work to pick up Oliver from preschool.
