My Littlest first played with this set after having her appendix removed at the hospital. She absolutely LOVED it. Santa brought her this set for Christmas and we've had a sushi date at least once a week ever since!
It's very cute, well made, and easy to play with. The storage box is really handy for keeping the pieces together.
10/10 recommend for any kid with an imagination and a love of food.

Melissa and Doug consistently make high quality, realistic kids toys and this sushi set is no exception. This sushi set comes on a high quality wooden box that can also be used as an organized storage space for the pieces. The set comes with multiple different sushi roll pieces, chop sticks, utensils, ginger, wasabi and even sashimi. Each piece in the set has a piece of Velcro attached to it to make assembling custom rolls easy. This set has been a fun addition to my daughters play kitchen and fun for the whole family.

This is very functional for a play food. Definitely looks like a bento box with sushi. Very easy for a child to play with and use there is Velcro at the ends of the chopsticks that help grasp the rolls that also have Velcro on it.

I got this for my daughter’s fifth birthday, and she plays with it all the time. It is so cute how realistic this set is. The chopsticks have Velcro on the end so you can truly reenact eating sushi. It also has little pieces of felt ginger, and also Wassabi! Such a cute set an a great gift idea.

Like most food related toys this is a lot of things to keep together. It was the perfect idea to get for my 2.5yr old to work on cutting skills. Some of the pieces are just not fully practical for most under 5yrs, in my opinion.

That all said. My son LOVES this toy. And enjoys getting to be a sushi chef like daddy ❤️

I wish the bento box it all comes in had a lid. That would have made this a 5 star review.
