I purchased this as payment for chores for our girls, ages 8 & 11. The money looks pretty close to the real thing but is obviously play money. We pay them with this money and as they spend it to buy snacks or whatever they have to do the math and tell us what they get back for change. Not only is this helping them with being able to count money, it's helping with math and developing their financial responsibility. The quality of the paper and the plastic coins is pretty good but I don't think I would get the money wet. It looks as though it will bleed and be unusable unlike real money.
I would purchase this again if needed.
