My wife and I ordered this stove in July and the dealer received it in Nov, but it was installed around March 22. When our kitchen remodel was finished. The stove top burners are terrible for cooking breakfast. I can"t get the burners to heat the pans consistently/uniformly. Many times burning the food. The burners don't heat uniformly, but go off and on which prevents a consistent heat. Which warped some of our pans getting to hot. The burners either don' get hot enough or too hot. Since the stove is under GE's warranty they sent up a repairman who didn't test anything other than turn the burners off and on. He said the stove burners will not heat / cook like our old stove and will not heat consistently since the burners go off and on. We told him the stove was a piece of junk and is of no use to us. He was a little defensive about the stove. He gave us a number to call GE. When my wife called GE, the operators were always busy and said they would call us back. They would never return our call. Thats the problem with buying American they sell junk and don"t back up their products. We don"t recommend GE products anymore. Companies are getting too big and independent and don"t care about their customers anymore. If I have my way, we'll get rid of it and get a gas range.
As a follow up to this review, after1 1//2 hr on the phone GE sent a 2nd repairman that replaced the dials for 2 burner. Still wasn’t right. On 3/13/23, we replaced this piece of junk with a LG Duel fuel range. Much happier.
