I don't crochet much except for trims around my knitting projects. The assorted sizes allow me to use the recommended size the pattern calls for without having to purchase them one at a time for almost the same price as this pack. The little pouch they came in is very convenient to keep them all together. The yarn slides along without snagging on burs and rough spots I have dealt with on bamboo hooks so that is a definite improvement. Good value for my money. The quality seems to be excellent and they are comfortable to hold.
