Wow, quite the savings on this compressor, seeing as you can't touch a cheap made in china version at the parts store for under $400. Fit a 2000 Saturn SL great. It's been six months, it's still going strong, and I don't expect it to fade any time soon.

My 2002 Saturn SL1 AC went out.
Jumping/shorting the compressor clutch did not engage so I knew it was either the clutch or compressor.
This is both in one unit. I spoke to my mechanic and he charged me 2 hours labor and nothing for the freon charge.

This compressor is not as cold as the original but cold enough to get keep me cool in sunny south Florida.
No regrets for the price.

An AC shop quoted me $1300 to change everything AC related.
For $300 including labor I am driving cool again.
5 Stars for price and fast delivery, lost one for not being as cool as possible.

---- UPDATE ----
Failed after 3 months. Car stalls when I press AC button. Disconnected AC engage wire and does not stall. The compressor failed. It was installed by certified mechanic.

put it in and found it can not build enough pressure to cool the system about 90 psi on the high side on a 70 degree day is not good enough should be around 150 psi i am returning this and getting a brand new one tired of these reman units

The first one I received lasted about a couple of months before the main body seal began to leak. Amazon sent me a new along with more freon which has currently been installed for a week now. If it holds up longer than a couple of months I may increase my rating.

Instead of going with a aftermarket unit I decided on this Reman. Delco piece, works very well and on the Saturn it was installed on. Because its an OEM unit install was a breeze, Great product would def. buy again.

I've had it on about a year in the California desert and my A/C is operating like it's new! I bought this as well as the evaporator. Always install a new evaporator when opening up A/C lines for repair.

This compressor lasted only a few months for me too. The clutch has a internal fault now, and won't engage when there is power to it. Unfortunately, the clutch is not serviceable on this model compressor. Fortunately, these are pretty cheap, as long as you don't mind paying a shop to switch it out every 3-4 months. I expected more from an A/C reman.
