This is one of the best "dry" Salami's I've tried, and it's a big chunk of sausage. Good flavor and texture, in my opinion, and I can't wait to get my slicer up and running to try it thinly sliced. I've been slicing by hand and find it to be a high quality product. I stored the last one for a couple months in the refrigerator, before I got to it, and it was perfect.
I've purchased the item twice and they were both fantastic.

Grew up in San Francisco, thought Gallo or Columbus were great when young. Boy was I wrong, I can’t eat that stuff anymore, this is so much better. Great balance of umami, acidity and pepper, this is my 4th 3 pound stick I’ve bought. Cut it in three, freeze the other two, lasts a long while.

Great flavor and the right density for hard salami. 3 lbs seems a lot, but I cut it in 4 pieces and freeze them until I want them. It isn’t cheap, but for this good, you are getting what you pay for. The only problem with the size is the temptation to eat more than I should. For people who don’t know, the white coating on the paper casing ( not the outer wrapper ) is a special mold that assists in the curing process and protects the salami from bacteria. When you peel of the casing, the thin coating of mold is removed with it. This is now a regular purchase for me

Expensive but delicious. It's the Rolls-Royce of salami. Taylor's Market the seller post their phone number and when you call somebody says hello Taylor's Market. This is the way it should be not some robotic menu with 50 different choices to choose from. If you have any problems ask for Bob and shipping he is the one who handles all the shipping and we'll straighten out any problems should they arise. Bob is a great guy. I felt like I've known him all my life from the first time I spoke to him. Too bad there are more employees out there like this. I'm sure there are but you rarely ever get to talk to them. If you talk to Bob tell him Jimmy in North Carolina sent you!!

I just bought a wonderful Molinari & Sons San Francisco Italian Dry Salami 3lb Stick Molded Paper Wrapped.

When I lived in So Cal as a kid, my Grandma used to bring us Salami from Molinari's whenever she would come visit us. It was a family ritual to pick Grandma up at the San Diego Train Station and then we would all go home to feast on Salami, green pepperoncini, Onion Focaccia Bread, and Fresh Soft and Creamy Sonoma Jack Cheese.

Now in my early 60's I go to thinking if Molinari's was still around, maybe they were selling Salami on amazon. Sure enough their Salami is right here, although sold by Taylor's Market.

I got greedy and bought a huge 3 lb. stick, all for my self. It just arrived, very well packaged, fresh and just as wonderful as I had remembered! And, it shipped quite fast too!
I enjoyed far too much of it this afternoon, with green pepperoncini, some focaccia bread and some Munster cheese as I can not find any soft Jack cheese in my locations.
It was a wonderful feast and now I have a whole lot of Salami left over. I wonder... How well does salami freeze?

Anyway, I highly recommend this Molinari Salami, and I recommend Taylor's Market as the seller too! Molinari Salami is STILL the BEST Salami in the USA. YUM!
