What I like:

This corkboard is the best. Perfect for its affordable price and does the job well. It's also pretty cute and lightweight that it made it easy for me to "mount" on my wall. It also came in undamaged.

Im only renting and can't really mount anything on the wall so what I did was that I used a strand of masking tape on the top to keep it against the wall and prevent it from falling, then I used a push pin and a magazine file to act as base support (I circled them red in the pic). And so far it is pretty stable and hasn't fallen over yet and I don't think it will. Oh also, my wall is made of wood that's why I was able to get the push pin through it.

What I don't like:
It's a bit thin. My push pins go through the board so I would be careful not to put the push pins all the way especially if your wall is made of wood like mine.

other than that I love it.

I wanted to have a fancy cork board map to push pins through, but I wasn't about to spend what it took to buy one already done. Go ahead, search on Amazon for a cork board map and peruse a bit. So I bought this cork board in conjunction with . I initially tried to separate the frame from the cork board, but that surely wasn't happening. The frame is very well built and put together. I would have had to destroy the frame before it would have come apart. Let that be a testament to the build quality of the frame. So, I used a hacksaw blade and ran it parallel along the inner edge between the frame and the cork board, in order to make a little void between the two. Then I laid out the map on top of the cork board and trimmed the edges of the map, leaving about 1/2" beyond the inner edge of the frame. Ever so carefully, I pushed the edges of the map up under the frame of the cork board and voila, I saved myself $50+ on the whole shebang. Sure, it's not absolute perfection, but I'd say it looks pretty good and is passable for what I needed. You can see in the photos that there is a slight ripple from the rolled map not laying perfectly flat, but that's only noticeable in a reflection, and I'm hoping that'll smoother out over time. Or you could just hang it in a dark room and forget about it. Also, the lines of the map don't perfectly align with the frame, but they're pretty darn close. The cork itself seems about as thick as most cork boards I've seen. I do know that when I push a pin in, it stays in place. The finish of the frame is smooth and looks great. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another one of these boards if need be. I feel my little cork board map creation will last as long as the hills. So if you feel like being a little bit handy and want to save a bit of mulah, do what I did, then sit back and relish in the grandeur of your impeccable handiness.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for jigsaw puzzles...wish that I'd thought of this sooner!
Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2022
If you've looked at the specialty items made to manage jigsaw puzzles, you probably found that the offerings are expensive and shoddily made.

I bought the 2x3-foot cork board because it will have room for me to place and sort my pieces outside of a 1000 piece puzzle border.

I can use it on my bed, table, or floor, pick it up easily to move it without losing pieces, and slide it under my bed or living room couch to hide it away.

The cork board has a raised frame and is attractive and well-made.
It was packaged beautifully and with care, and arrived with Superman speed.
( I'm saving the custom-fit box for secure storage when the board is not in use.)

If I were the manufacturer, I would look at this alternative use as a marketing opportunity...

I don't leave many reviews, but perhaps another jigsaw puzzler will find this interesting.

(Of course, it can also be used as a bulletin board...hardware and instructions included.
Mine has a black frame and looks great.)

Shipment came fast and undamaged. Board is okay quality. You gotta remember this was 15.41 with prime (5/19/2018) so you pay for quality. For me most of the board was going to be covered and I was not going to consistently pin/unpin items. So if you’re posting pictures/maps then this is perfect.
Some cons to this board is that like other reviewers have said the cork is really thin. I had a 1cm pin and I measured about .5-.6 cm exposed so you can do the math of how thin the cork is.
The hanging clip is designed kind of weird. So once you hang it it will not sit flush with the wall the bottom portion is going to stick out. Didn’t bother me much, but i guess it gives you more cork space in the bottom area.
Instructions are garbage. What I did was measured half of the board (17.5) then half of that (8.75) and marked in both directions. Use a level and mark corrections as needed. Then use a drill with a 5/32 drill bit and drill it through. Then push the anchor in (it’ll be a snug fit so you might need a rubber mallet, I used the end of something hard). Screw in the plate with the screw in the middle.
All in all, decent board easy setup, although mines a bit crooked, it doesn’t bother me.

Exceeded my expectations due to the fact I’ve bought ones more expensive and not as big and were total junk! Happy with this product and recommend.

I have 2 in our master bedroom. Each month I get 85 photos from FreePrints and rotate my favorite photos from the month on these boards! One is beside my dresser and the other is besides my toddlers bed (we room share) with her birthday cards and pictures she likes most pinned to it. I'm buying my third so that I can hang it in the living room for my kids to pin their drawings to! I have to say when I placed the first order they were shipped separately. One was a box within a box, and the other was the board packaged by itself. The one shipped by itself arrived warped and totally messed up and somehow the cork was stained all over. I sent it back and was pretty disappointed with having to wait. The replacement was shipped inside another box and didn't have any damage. Wouldn't say it's the items fault it was shipped inadequately. But I hope this third one is shipped correctly so I can immediately hang it up!

This thing holds up great. It’s fallen off the wall due to the 3m strips not sticking (downside) and hasn’t crumbled. Cork holds tacks well.
