5.0 out of 5 stars Worked perfectly without any problems

First time purchasing a sim card and it worked perfectly. Used all over Spain for 2 weeks without any problems. Activation on their website was quick and easy and confirmed on the date requested. It only asked for the PIN whenever I powered on the phone (not waking up from sleep mode). It messaged me for identification only a few times which I ignored. Will purchase again and definitely recommend.

I was nervous using this overseas as I read through the reviews but if you file the simple directions it'll work perfectly. I went to Spain and never had any issues whatsoever and we recommend this product to anyone doing the same.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked flawlessly

Bought 2 SIM cards for trip to France-Spain.
Activated card day before the departure, stated working as soon as I landed in Paris.
Used for 3 days in France and 8 days in Spain, more than enough GB included for using map, websites.
I would buy again for my next trip.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked exactly as advertised. Update: refills a little tricky and extra charges not too bad

I followed Tour Tech's instructions and activated the SIM via their website a few days before I left. Once I landed in Paris, insert the SIM into phone and (this is important) enter the SIM PIN number which is printed on the back of the card.
1) Write town the SIM card PIN number, I had to enter it every time I turned the phone off and on.
2) A few days after you start the phone it asks you to scan your passport to Orange. (it's an EU regulation that cell phone users be identified) I tried on the phone but it said that failed. I went to the Orange.es site on a computer and was able to put in a scan and they stopped bugging me.
3) You can check the Orange.es site to see your usage. (see picture)
4) The card looked different that that shown on Amazon but it had the same terms. (see picture)
I will update this review after I refill the card to say how that went.
Update I am using this card in Portugal:
Upon buying the card my account page on orange.es showed a 10 Euro credit
I have refilled the card three times;
Once for 15 euro when the first month was ending.
Again for 15 Euro because a number of charges reduced the balance such that I did not have enough for the 15 Euro auto-refill (my service was briefly suspended). Charges were because calls made outside of Spain are not included in the "800 free minutes" and cost me 2.95 Euro. Charges for SMS outside Spain cost me 2.45 Euro.
Just now my third refill is for 5 Euro so my balance is enough for auto-refill.
I am now just one day from auto-refill and my balance shows 19.58 Euro. This will get me my third 28 days of service starting tomorrow.
So total cost is $30 for the initial purchase plus 45 Euros and now I am paid up for three 28 day service periods.
My first refills were no problem through the tour-tech site, but the most recent time the site was down.
Orange has a link to another page where you can refill with a non-Spanish credit card but you have to create a separate account on that page (different from the organe.es account). Weird but it works.
Other than the above, the SIM has worked perfectly, no problem running hotspot etc.

Easy install, worked immediately. Two phones worked fine for ten days in Spain. Tip: keep the activation PIN handy as it's needed every time the phone powers up (in case you need to restart for any reason - which I did once, and had to dig around for the PIN).

Worst sim card ever. It resets daily and requires you to enter pin and set up again, which means not only that you will have to find where you put the card, but will not get messages/app notifications or calls in the morning until you use your phone and spend the time setting it up. Avoid.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked well in Spain

I used this for a week-long trip to Spain. I first used it when landing in a connection in Paris, then used it in Spain, and finally used it when I left via a connection in Amsterdam. It worked everywhere.

Even though I registered/activated the SIM just before starting my trip, Orange sent a message roughly every day asking me to go to a web site to register some information with them. I ignored it and it continued to work fine.

5.0 out of 5 stars That it works
Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2023
Just came back from Spain and Portugal. The SIM card worked flawlessly, activated it 3 days before leaving, but got confirmation only the day of. Inserted the card in Spain and it worked right away, no problem. In Portugal it automatically switched the NOS network, and we just needed to turn on roaming. Worked without a problem throughout. Would get it again or maybe n esim version.
