I love my little bottle of Rosemaryoil. I purchased this for my hair. I was watching some people that were claiming to really see a drastic difference using this kind of product. After a few weeks of use I can already tell my hair is getting thicker. Here's what I mean, I typically shed all the time and have for many many years. I think this is due to an unhealthy scalp. This product helps moisturizeand does other things that I actually don't remember, but it seems to be working really well. I also use this product with coconut oil.

Whenever I get in the shower I wet my entire body down, but specifically my head. I then take a small amount of coconut oil and put five to six drops of the rosemary oil and mix it together before massaging it into my scalp. You can see a picture of the coconut oil behind my Rosemary oil bottle.

I then proceed to wash the rest of my body so that it can soak into my hair. When I am finished I use my shampoo to wash the oil out of my hair.

So Many Uses!

I know this might sound odd for this product, but... I make ~99% of my own cleaning solutions. For those who are not aware peppermint is a wonderful repellent for pests. I believe this is sold as a baking/candy making product. However, I add a few drops to my multi purpose cleaning solutions, my deep cleaning soap buckets and even my hard wood floor mop buckets! It is a wonderful addition for kitchen and bath for the added bug prevention (crumbs in kitchen and water loving insects in bathroom) ewww I live in an old house so it is hard to keep every tiny crack caulked and sealed. But on the hardwood floors it is amazing! I normally use a distilled water and white vinegar solution the cleans unbelievably well but doesn't shine the floor or smell very good. This solves both! Add 4 drops to a mop bucket and not only are you covering every nook and cranny with insect repellent that is completely non toxic, it leaves home smelling clean,fresh and the oil shines away and dullness left from the vinegar. It is packaged vey nicely and comes with a glass pipette and a screw on lid so it tightly seal to avoid overpowering scent whenever you store the bottle. A little bit goes a long way and it is a huge 4 oz bottle. Great value as well!

????⚡️ Stops mosquito bite itch, extreme turpentine smell

???? I got eaten alive by mosquitoes. Nothing would stop the itch, not even 4% topical lidocaine + 1% hydrocortisone + 50mg of oral Benadryl. I applied the Tea Tree oil to the bites and in 10 minutes, the itch was gone completely! Diluted 50/50 in carrier oil.
The anti-itch lasted 6 hours. I just reapplied and timed it for how long it takes to stop the itch. That’s how I know it’s 10 minutes.
I purchased the following products on Amazon to complete my formula: amber glass bottles with sprayers, 4oz, Neutrogena Body Oil unscented sesame oil. The reason I use this as my carrier oil is because it’s thin and easily goes through the sprayer, without clogging it. All my essential oil blends are done with this base and put in the amber glass spray bottles (they come with a plastic funnel).
It really stinks, but luckily it’s only my feet and ankles that were bitten, so the turpentine smell isn’t near my face.
I would try a 10% solution first, then increase to 25%, then 50% and see if a weaker formulation will give the same results for insect bites.
If you’re someone who has extreme allergic reactions to insect bites (mosquitoes, fire ants, etc.), this could be a Godsend for you. It certainly is for me!
I’ve never worked with tea tree oil before, so I didn’t know it’s the same thing as turpentine or how overwhelming the smell would be, until I had already mixed it 50/50, in accordance with a homeopathic medicine recommendation I had. Definitely try a less potent formulation first. You can always add more. Other oils that were mentioned as helpful for insect bites are: lavender, rosemary and mint. Ginger would probably help, too, because it’s anti inflammatory.
I deducted 1 star for the strong smell. It doesn’t say which Tea Tree this oil is from, but cheaper oils have stronger smells. The one that has the least smell is: melaleuca alternifolia.
