A lot of these types of bulbs don't last very long in my bearded dragon lamps, they can handle the wattage and they're both new so there really shouldn't be a problem but these particular bulbs don't seem to have that problem. I'm real happy with them.

Do not buy these bulbs. I punched some 4 months ago and had to replace because they fall apart. Not burn out but literally come apart. I thought it was a fluke thing so purchased another set on Oct 1st and here it is 3 days later. Now what really concerns me is this is for a turtle basking spot that has no lid, so if the bulb fully separated it would of dropped either on to the turtle while burning hot or onto basking spot and probably would of broke leaving glass in the water. These are obviously cheaply made and will never purchase from this company again and suggest you look elsewhere.

We buy these for my son's bearded dragon enclosure. The lights work great and give the proper amount of heat needed for his dragons. However, they do not last long at all. I would say on average we get about a month or two out of each light before they burn out and need to be replaced. I'm not sure if there are better ones out there that last longer, but I guess it is what it is.
