I bought this for my grandpa since his gas one is too heavy for him now. He liked it because it light, good length (he's 5'3), but still does the job easily as long as you don't let your grass/weeds grow much higher than 6 or 7 inches and take your time. The edge trimmer feature is actually very good. It surprised me that it had it and worked as well as it did when I tested it. I have a dewalt cordless trimmer and, while it has much more power than this, the edge trimming is about as good as this cheap trimmer has. The 2 batteries last long enough to trim all the way around my 2100 sqft house and still have some juice left for touch ups.
The string change is fairly straight forward and the automated system is great. Even my dewalt has to be hit against the ground to feed it more string.
I definitely recommend this if you aren't looking for something for commercial use or for very long/dense/wet grass.
