is an awesome free application. You can see from my Amazon profile I buy lots of games for myself and my kids, because of this I need a way to track what we own of don't own since from time to time we would end up with a duplicate game. Well I found My game Collection and have been able to track the 100's of games my kids and I own.
I have been trying the free version for months and I really like this application. It tracks my Nintendo WII, WII U, Switch, 2ds and 3ds games. It also tracks my steam games, and PC games.
Now I was confused by this listing in Amazon, it says Premium Key indicating it is not a separate app and the listing indicates "This acts as an unlock key for all features in the free version".
So for those that don't own the free version download it first from Amazon or the Play store. I got mine from the play store.
Next purchase this item. I see you can also buy this item in the play store or via the app. I bought the pro key here.
Now this next step is confusing, I expected a code I might have to type in. I am not sure how the other store will handle this, but for this amazon product what you need to do is go to you amazon app on your device. Update your amazon app to see what is new on your account, the sync button on the upper right hand corner.
Next you should see the My Games Collection Premium key appear in your list of application in your cloud list. When you see it click the install button.
It looks as if nothing is happening. When you look at the device no new application is installed. What happed is it applied the key to the original application. If you did not download the free version go back and install the free version first.
Now for those that have the free version open it again. What I noticed first is the ads were gone and the screen looks nice and clear with just the app. So the pro features were applied to my free version that I downloaded on the play store after I clicked install in my amazon app application. This is the app that you manage all your amazon apps and not the play store app.
My game still looks the same as the free version on the home screen, but when you open it is clear it worked. So again, the first think to look for is the absence of ads. Next I added more then 20 games to my wish list. You can also test the following to know it works.

* Unlimited custom filters on game lists (free limit: 3)
* Unlimited custom filters on hardware lists (free limit: 3)
* Create a homescreen shortcut for game lists (not allowed on free)
* Create a homescreen shortcut for hardware lists (not allowed on free)
* Unlimited games on the wishlist (Free: max 20 games)
* Unlimited hardware items on the wishlist (Free: max 7 games)
* Unlock all filters (metacritic, how long to beat, ...)
Anyway, I can see how some people below thinks this does not work, or be as confused as I was. But this is a great application I love to use all the time, and I think it is a very lost cost to remove ads and support the developer.
I hope I clarified how this product works here on Amazon. I was happy it worked with my play store download of the free version, and I am sure it will work with the amazon free version. But again .... you need to download the free version first.
I also just noticed about an hour after writing this review that the title screen of the free version now says PREMIUM when I open the application. So also look on the title screen for that change to confirm that your key works.
