Let's be honest here--- this is not top of the line and it isn't meant to be. This is a great starter instrument. It's inexpensive enough that if you decide that the clarinet isn't for you then it's no big loss. I was also concerned that my son might lose it or break it so I didn't want to spend a lot on it. It is a very sturdy instrument and the sound is perfect. It includes a very rugged carrying case for easy storage and to protect it from damage.

Cheapest price, Great quality for the price. I've noticed some Tuning issues. It can be l out of tune sometimes which is very annoying. However, it can possibly be solved with better quality mouth piece and a reed. Overall it's a decent quality clarinet especially for the price.

Somewhat poor quality, rough, difficult to assemble thanks to somewhat lax manufacturing standards; but once you get it pieced together, it works. If this were a 200$ clarinet I'd rate it 1 star and return it; but this is pretty much exactly what you expect from one of this price; a good one to give a kid.

We received the clarinet and the bell did not fit on the end of the clarinet. There was about an inch gap. We tried to use the cork paste and wax to fit it, but it didn't work still. Can probably find better quality elsewhere without much of a price difference.
