First off this is a great deal for 8 lights , when most have packs of 6.
My son had a set of these , and I never knew I wanted or needed nite lights until I saw these. They aren’t too bright , and look good , and do a great job of illuminating hallways , bathrooms , Stairs etc.
My son had a set of the “older version” of these lights. I loved the ones he had so much , I decided to order a set, but the brand he had ordered wasn’t available. I then ordered a different brand that looked the same , but on arrival it clearly wasn’t the same. The light color was different, and wasn’t near as appealing. I decided to do a little research in what was different, and turns out the “Kelvin” was 5000K on the set I ordered vs the 6500K Kelvin of the ones he had. ( Kelvin represents the color , or “temperature” of the light color -Ive attached a Kelvin chart in my reviews pictures )
After a quick search on Amazon , I couldn’t find a set exactly like his with the 6500K Kelvin , and I came across these , which did have the 6500K temperature but looked a little different , but I decided to order anyways. These also came with 8 lights VS the 6 the others offered.
This set was delivered via Amazon prime the very next day. When I opened them I was immediately impressed. The build quality seemed better , and they are more appealing in design.
Then minute they kicked on at dark , I knew I had made the right purchase.
This version illuminates 360° and not as much forwarded, illuminating walk ways better , without blinding you in a dark hallway. They look great lit up , and for the price it’s a win.
When looking at LED lights , the two things to keep in mind if your picky about color and brightness are
LUMES (brightness)
&
KELVIN (Light Color)
I personally find the 6500 Kelvin to be a more appealing color temp. It presents a clean color look , and it’s not hard on your eyes in the dark.
These are a win in my opinion. If anything changes in the future I’ll update my review.
