This is a genuine Kohler part for my Kohler toilet. Very easy install installation instructions on the back of the packaging. See video attached be gentle with your plastic pieces in the toilet because they are probably also a little dry rotted from being wet all the time and could also break when you’re trying to change the gasket.

Very simple solution to a sometimes very complex problem. When I took off the old one on three different toilets they all had little blebs on the old seal explaining why it was leaking. Easily replacing it (3 different toilets) with a new one immediately led to quiet toilets and no more leaking! Love this thing!!

Perfect fit and function for Kohler toilet model it is designed for. This was a few dollars more than the generic copy from a far away land, but it fits perfectly and works as designed. It is worth it for the peace of mind to not deal with failing imposter products and a need to return something. Very happy with this purchase.

After about 3 years of use our Kohler toilet was slowly draining and then re-filling every 15 minutes. I figured it was a leaking “flapper” valve although Kohler uses a cylindrical sleeve design. I replaced the yellow ring seal and that fixed the problem. The directions are on the back of the package. It was easy to do for any DIYer.
