5.0 out of 5 stars Looks good

Happy with quality and seems pretty sharp to me. It looks good on the camera . The front element is bigger so you’ll need different size filters .

5.0 out of 5 stars Fuji makes THIS High Quality Wide Adapter (the same is not said for their Telephoto Adapter though)
Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2024
Love this adapter. Wish they had a faster and safer mount but it does the job. Screw on lens adapters are slow and for this lens the back glass is pretty exposed so you have to be careful... I'm very careful and as an ameteur don't have to be fast so it works great for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Extra flexibility in a super small package without sacrificing image quality
Reviewed in the United States on November 11, 2021
This conversion lens works great with the X100V; the image quality doesn't suffer for the extra glass and it gives some extra flexibility when you want a little more in your scene than you can get with the built-in lens. It's not a requirement (and I still use the standard lens a lot more often), but it's a great option without adding much bulk (and costing way less than a comparable prime lens would).

Ultimately this lens won't be for everyone, but if you prefer a slightly wider focal length over a 35mm equivalent, then this is a well-built option that feels well balanced on an X100 series camera.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cannot describe how impressed I am !
Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2018
As I own 2 X100F (Black and Silver), I bought the WCL II to use exclusively with my black one and all I can say is: This lens is a MUST for landscape photographers ! Build quality is EXCELLENT, image quality, just echoing most people, is SUPERB. IMO it doesn't change anything from the native 23mm image quality. Let's put it this way: it simply transformed my Black X100F into a permanent "native" 19mm X100F. If I consider the only (almost irrelevant at least for me) downside, is the lens weight. It's a bit heavier than I thought even knowing by the specs that it's "only" 150g. It makes the camera unbalanced as expected. In my case, add to it, the heavy 49mm B+W UV filter and the Fuji Lens Hood. My black X100F is probably weighing 650g. But I really don't care. It's only an observation that some people may consider an issue. Another thing to remember and consider: using the built in flash will produce shadow with the WCL attached.

4.0 out of 5 stars X100V Companion

The X100V is a great travel camera due to its size but to expand that to let's say, street photography, this wide angle lens adaptor is a great companion.

5.0 out of 5 stars GOOD ADDITION TO THE X100F
Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2018
I'm pleased with the WCL X100 II conversion lens for the X100f. In fact most of the time it's screwed on to my camera and left there. With the X100f it's an easy matter to use the digital teleconverter with the WCL and get back to the standard focal length if need be. Images seems as sharp to me as without the converter. There are a couple of things to keep in mind.
1. The converter adds to the overall size of the camera by quite a bit. When attached it sticks out an additional 1 1/2 from the end of the normal lens. It does take a 49mm filter, the same that the normal lens does.
2. You will pick up a bit more flare.I always have a quality 49mm filter on my converter (Hoya) and that might increase flare issues as well. But it's nothing one can't live once you work with the camera for awhile.
I added a photo shot with the WCL on the camera. It is downsized for upload but gives you and idea of what I'm talking about as far as image quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars Expands the X100 system with minimal impact
Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2018
This item arrived to my door promptly and with good packing.

This lens is small and portable. The optical quality of the glass is excellent. When using this lens it does not seem to reduce the amount of light coming through to the sensor.

This lens looks great when taking shots adding a new range of possibilities for any X100 shooter. It also allows for some macro shooting, but I would not recommend it as a macro system.

The compactness of the X100 system allows me to carry this with me everywhere I go. I would highly recommend this item.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent lens!
Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2019
The optics and build quality are top notch. The lens provides a wider 28mm FOV great for tighter venues or general street photography. Lens is also very small and easily fits into a small bag or pocket. Screws on and off quickly and is threaded for 49mm filters. Also looks great on the camera ????. Love it!
