I just received this pencil case and was immediately impressed with it. It came flat and when I opened it up and pulled up the sides it does not flop down as I've experienced with other similar items. I like that there's a handle sewn into the side of the case. I love that there are 2 zipper pulls and that they open all the way around the back curves of the case so that the top will fold out flat and not want fall back onto the case. There is a mesh pouch on the inside of the top and a sewn in piece with elastic loops to insert pencils or other items for easy access. The main area of the case is pretty deep for other items.

I will be using this to store quilting supplies when I go to a class. The case is small enough to keep beside the sewing machine and big enough to hold all the supplies I need for a class, scissors, seam ripper, thread, bobbins, needle threader, needles, pins, pin cushion, and, yes, a pencil too. It might wind up being a great place to store these items handy next to the sewing machine at home too.

This is a very functional pencil case, it holds a lot of school tools. I like the middle section which can hold your most frequently used item. I also enjoy the handle.

I got this pencil case for my son for back to school. It has a nice zipper to close because his old case was hard plastic and just clipped shut, so if he dropped it, it would open and everything would fall out. This one has some compartments and pouches to organize his favorite pencils or store away small items such as notepads. It is very deep so he is able to fit more items such as scissors, markers and such. It has a handle on the outside to carry it. He is very happy with it.

I forgot to get a picture before sending this off with my bonus child. That being said, what you see is what you get. It holds a large amount of pens, pencils and has extra storage for other needed items like scissors, correction tape, etc. The outside is made of a thick canvas type material so it's very sturdy. This could be used to carry art supplies for sketching, not just school supplies so it's great for an artist that likes to work outdoors.

UPDATE 8/16/24: The seller reached out to me and offered to replace my item. I received the new one a couple of days later and the zipper works perfectly. The original must have been defective. My daughter is using it for school and loves the color and size.

Original review: My high school junior daughter needed a new pencil pouch for this school year. She likes pink. She thinks it is a good pencil pouch, and it fits a lot of stuff. However, the zipper is hard to use and gets stuck a lot. If this is happening already right after purchase, it may not last long or she may get frustrated with it and want a new one.

Okay, so I ordered the YELLOW pencil case. It was pictured as a light banana yellow and it arrived GREEN???? it is not even close to the same color and is not the pencil pouch that is pictured. It fits my stuff nicely, but isn't even the same color as the picture!!! I still like the green color, and it looks nice, but I wish this company would have been transparent about the true color. I do not recommend unless you don't care about the color. Super disappointed :(

This has one zipper that works smoothly. There is a net pocket, a divider to hold pens/pencils and maybe USB cards, and an open area.

I wish this had two zipper compartments. The pencil holder is nice as is the net pocket. I am not sure what I want to do with the open area, but I am sure I will find something. I fly drones and they are worse than traveling with babies. You need tools, replacement parts, SD cards, battery chargers, and cables.

This is a nice case and would very well as a pencil art case. It will be just fine in my flight bag.
